Love how after seeing that the crowd going berserk, Clapton kinda said, "Well, I guess we'll start the song without talking about how it came into existence," which is something he used to do in those times. Love him so much.

Classic example of how to somehow find your fluency when you're not really feeling it a 100% at first. Look how he started the solo and kept finding for his mojo and at 2:45 with that bend, he found the right notes. There's a lesson here for us guitar players!

Insane, that is! There is so much energy on stage, and these men are just playing their hearts out. I love this number to death for that.

Lose those thin sounding Fenders, and get back on Gibbos. The right sound for ECs style.

In this clip Eric's singing voice sounds like John Mayall's.

Eric should have changed guitars after the forth song or tuned the guitar better. Shame really excellent sound. Doyle Bramhall's es335 actually stayed in tune. Which surprised me it's usually thr G string or the B string that goes flat after about 15 mins of playing them. Must have a very good guitar tech back stage. If I was Eric's tech the moment I heard him go out of tune on the outro of making love to you. I would of flashed a signal light on the wings to he light engineer to change guitars over with the same E standard tuning lights off. Guitar change lights on, play on Eric. Shame really. I HATE HEARING OUT OF TUNE GUITARS.

As much as I like him with a Stratocaster, it’s almost as if he needs to think every note when playing one, where as the notes just flows out of him when he plays a Gibson Les Paul or an ES 335. He becomes one with the guitar.

How I wish Jimi had overcome his shyness about covering this song, in the vein of "The Wind Cries Mary",I imagine.

What a cheery version of what is a harrowing song! Makes me wonder if Clapton understands the lyrics at all?
One of the most truly emotiobal songs ever written . Thank you Eric for writing this song for all of us. I so identified with this song. Its truly my sobriety song.❤Forever Fan ♥
