Go to your local junk yard and get some sound deadening material from under the hood of a car. You can cut it to size. I picked up two, one for under the bed and one under the seat. It was cheap and seems to help! Thanks Doug@jdtoys

You were probably measuring the engine noise more than the exhaust noise. You should have placed the db meter behind the utv not on the seat above the engine

Thanks for the info. I just bought a 570 myself and was looking for a kit.. That machine looks awful nice I don't believe you will get her dirty.. LOL

Polaris just can't seem to locate batteries anywhere on their products that are convenient to reach or service. I see on your installation kit that the battery is even hidden more than it was originally. How on earth do you change a bad battery of jump start when the battery is dead? I'm interested in purchasing the 570 mid size EPS. Thanks for you information

The box under the seat is easily removed and you have full access to the battery. I keep a battery trickle charger on mine and I can connect by just lifting the seat.

Bob S decibels are logarithmic. It is actually quite dramatic.

I understand the decibel reading, however to my ear I expected more. I imagine excessive back pressure would become a concern at some point soon.

Bob S absolutely, do not like system really hoping HMF or Big Gun makes a true stainless steel slip on for this model I need it's literally not changed in 4yr

Bob S you won’t be able to tell anything from a KZbin video. The Audio is compressed on almost any internet video (or any recording for that matter) which means the quiet sounds are boosted and the loud sounds are reduced. It’s not anywhere near a true representation of the difference in volume.

Great comparison, I also have a 570 that I’m thinking of adding this to help knock the edge off the exhaust note. Are you still happy with it?
