Go to your local junk yard and get some sound deadening material from under the hood of a car. You can cut it to size. I picked up two, one for under the bed and one under the seat. It was cheap and seems to help! Thanks Doug@jdtoys

You were probably measuring the engine noise more than the exhaust noise. You should have placed the db meter behind the utv not on the seat above the engine

Bob S decibels are logarithmic. It is actually quite dramatic.

I understand the decibel reading, however to my ear I expected more. I imagine excessive back pressure would become a concern at some point soon.

Bob S absolutely, do not like system really hoping HMF or Big Gun makes a true stainless steel slip on for this model I need it's literally not changed in 4yr

Bob S you won’t be able to tell anything from a KZbin video. The Audio is compressed on almost any internet video (or any recording for that matter) which means the quiet sounds are boosted and the loud sounds are reduced. It’s not anywhere near a true representation of the difference in volume.
