Nice design. I add a tube at each corner of my shelves and dollies to fit the round shank of the scaffolding casters I install so can easily relocate or move for cleaning my shelving and other equipment. The extra effort is worth it because everyone gets old and I work alone. Using round tubing also permits using adjustable scaffold feet instead of casters as scaffolds are designed for quick, easy swapout. Turning industrial shelving (I buy used industrial carts at auction then mod them into my mobile shelving) into carts that can be moved while loaded or making your own (I do both) is a major boost to shop convenience. Since my box trailer has (easy to retrofit) e-trak I'm fabbing rolling shelves for that, too. Scaffolding casters can be pinned in place and come with effective wheel brakes. I use them for welding carts, air compressor bases (the only thing sort of permanent in my shops are the buildings and most of those are shipping containers) and more.

Thank you for this video. Sure enough, I took out my back seat. Unscrewed the 3 screws. Bam! Mouse nest and a chewed up blue hose. EXACT same issue.

"assembly is the reverse of disassembly" - I sense from the way that you say that is that you are poking fun at the ol' Haynes manuals. I spent many nights in my younger days spilling oil on those at 3am wondering if I was going to get my clunker to take me to work in the morning.

You really like to shoot yourself in the foot by using nylon rod and by needing a lathe to shape it. Nylon is very difficult to bond to. You could have used sections of ABS plumbing pipe which is FAR MORE easily bonded to and way cheaper and cut it with a hacksaw. Probably lighter too. The ol' creativity mechanism was running a bit slow for you that time.

You could have saved a lot of fussing if you simply replaced the factory trim clip. I had that issue with my 2012 Fiat Sport and fixed it properly with a trim clip made expressly for early Fiats, cost per clip 0.50. Time to repair about 10 minutes once the original broken clip was removed.

I am having trouble finding the clip part number. Do you have it? I agree it is simply those plastic clips.

I think if you cleaned up the diverter valve and closed some factory boost leaks it might help

Garagejournal sent me 😎 As much as I like the simplicity of that style, I find that with a bandsaw you can get consistent enough cuts to square smaller projects up; if the cut piece fits you're halfway there already and all it takes is a builder's square, a level, a tape measure and a few tacks The advantage to Jamie's method is that if you're making huge shelves with many "bays", you just lay the lengths of steel against each other and don't have to do nearly as many cuts The red overalls would be handy if you're "accident prone" 🤣

shortage of epoxy in Italy? LOL, the NA version is assembled in Mexico, and this issue was prevalent on the 2014 moving forward. My 2013 is already 10 years old and now this is starting to happen. 2014 and onwards this was an issue within a few months.
