One of the few videos I've seen actually mount a TRUE cold air intake, everything else in the 595 is crazy as there's next to no air flow into the engine bay. I love this, time for me to source all of these parts in the UK!!!

Hey I got a shout out!!! Hahah that was me guys, I was the unfortunate subscriber doing the boost leak mod! I feel famous :)))

I also wanted to say that you should try a home DIY ram air setup for the intercooler like time attack/ track cars. Instead of hoping the air makes its way through the honeycomb grille and other bumper obstructions, you could make a cutout marching the size of the intercooler and seal it together so there is no air gap between the front bumper and the intercooler. I’m sure you’d be running a little colder!

The intercooler looks awesome 👍 My Forge intake takes cold air from under the windscreen, took under 1 hour to install, lunch included 😁 Looking forward to your but dyno test

I’m pulling the bumper and quickly trying to come up with a quick attach method for the bumper. Apparently some guys are disconnecting the intake from the turbo and reaching through. Guaranteed I would dump half a filter housing of oil down the intake if I tried it

Hi. Do you get the cool blow off noises with the ATM intake?

Did you find a quick release system for the bumper? Doing the oil change I have braked the lateral tabs.

I never have, still pulling the bumper the hard way for every oil change

I had all week to test, and it’s poured rain every day. Hoping for a chance tomorrow, in which case video this weekend. If it’s still rain tomorrow, I’m either going to have to wait 2 weeks or find a weekend test track

Hey great videos! I have a 2012 model that has loud front wheel bearings, and I was wondering if you knew of a well-regarded 3rd party set of high quality replacements, or if I should just check with the dealer. Any experience with wheel bearings? Thanks!

I noticed you have a front license plate. Do you think that impedes and negatively affects the performance of the FMIC because it's covering part of it?
@EveryOtherFridayOff3 жыл бұрын
Some, but what I’ve seen is that temps drop like a stone as soon as I hit 30, even with a heat soaked engine. So I’m not worried about it.

@@EveryOtherFridayOff Thank you for your quick reply, good to know! It seems like a FMIC for the Abarth is a no brainer.
@CrazyForCashews3 жыл бұрын
@@EveryOtherFridayOff Is a FMIC one of those "must-have" mods for the Abarth? Or is it mainly for people who autocross or track their cars? The SMIC aren't THAT bad are they? Also did you have any fitment issues with the CHQ/NGEN FMIC with your bumper and fender? Any noticeable gaps in the body or does it sit flush?
@EveryOtherFridayOff3 жыл бұрын
@@CrazyForCashews Not a must have. The double bonus for me is being able to put the intake where a side mount was

Hey, have you done a oil change with the atm intake? Do you have to remove the bumper to get the oil filter off?

Awesome videos, really well done!! What led you to go with the fenderwell over the cowl Intake from ATM?
@EveryOtherFridayOff4 жыл бұрын
I've seen numbers where they are both supposed to have similar performance, and I've got zero evidence to dispute the claims of the cowl intake, but just looking at where they sit and run, it sure seems to me the fenderwell ought to be a cooler position. I also really like the clean engine bay
@vha274 жыл бұрын
Also I’ve heard with the cowl intake, you hear a lot of intake noise. I personally have had the fender well intake for about 2 years. Only issues I’ve had are the plastic caps can crack on the reservoir and fill.

Thanks for the video. I'll be using to install my ATM FMIC this weekend. Also, I haven't heard back from you about the tune, do you still have the FIAT?

@@EveryOtherFridayOff definitely hit me up. I’ve learned many things :-). Again thank you for the video. My install was completed using intuition and by watching your video since the link for ATM’s install is “private”. I didn’t remove my headlight; that was a mistake. I also had the grommet pop inside the reservoir and caused my motor insert to bend…. All is well but the struggle is real. Lmk what you come up with for quick releases on the bumper.
