I ❤ Southwest Airlines. My first flight on a Southwest plane was back in 1975, when they added KHRL as their 4th destination. I vividly remember the flight attendant uniforms, the LUV potions, the colorful cabins with the red, blue, and dark yellow seats, the cabin lounges with rear facing seats, and especially the aroma in the cabin....stale tobacco smoke, perfume, and coffee. The 737-200s were so kool and those JT engines roared. Thank you Sourhwest, for all of the wonderful flights and memories. I applied for a SWA Flight Attendant position in 1999. Im bilingual and speak fluent Spanish. Never imagined that they would send me a free ticket for an interview in Houston, but they did. Unfortunately, i met a girl 2 weeks before the interview and fell for her. So i didnt pursue the interview and instead it was 9 years of pure hell with that girl. I kick myself in the butt for choosing her over Southwest. This is what happens when you follow the wrong heart, i guess.

I crafted an Arkansas Razorbacks inspired clone of these model maker's excellent work. It hung in the (now closed) LRC Little Rock Reservations Center. I donated it to a fellow agent at the closure, as I recall. Approximately the same size/scale as the professional ones. My fuselage was plastic 3 liter Coke bottles dovetailed end-to-end, with balsa wood wings and vertical stabilizer. The Razorback Hogs' snout was the cockpit with the squiggly tail aft of Door 1. The remainder was the Arkansas state flag-whose diamond shaped design REALLY lent itself to rendering on a tubular fuselage. Really fun project and 100% inspired by these outstanding professionals' work featured here. THANKS! Semper Fidelis.

As a professional musician, Southwest Airlines Destroyed my luggage in March 2024 & worst seats in the industry. Never again Southwest.

southwest FO once let me in the flight deck before takeoff while we were at the gate, he also let me start the APU, turn the on the seatbelt signs, and he helped me plan the flight route and even walked me through METARS on the FMC, i’ll never forget that 💙❤💛
