This solved my issue! My moped (Lance Havana 125cc) would start up but die during the idle. I drained the gas, used this stuff in the air intake, let it sit for 10 minutes, sprayed while running it for a couple minutes, and then drained it. Now runs like a charm.

Berrymans B12 chemtool definitely works the best when your carb is very gummed up inside. For general, more consistent use, I like Seafoam better. The way I usually use B12 is by draining ALL the gas, including from the bowl, then dumping half a can of B12 into the tank, turning the fuel On until it starts flowing out the float bowl drain, then close the drain and shut fuel off. I let that marinate for an hour or so, fill the gas tank up with gas this time, then open up the float bowl drain again, and let it drain until I feel there isn't just pure B12 in the carb. (Usually let it drain for 30 seconds or so). Then I'll pour a small bit of B12 back into the gas and she's right as rain.

I just bought one... $18.00 I tried for days to clean the small pilot (pickup tube) to no avail. Installed a $18.00 carb, fired up on the 3rd kick. I little tweak on the air screw, and idle screw and she purrs like a kitten.

You keep saying seized the bike your working on isn't seized. If it was you wouldn't be able to kick it. Dose it need a cylinder and possibly a cylinder or bore yeah.

easier way to use carb cleaner... people dont know this but you can run a car with carb cleaner... so you literally just start the motorcycle and spray carb cleaner in the fuel line and let the vehicle run on nothing but carb cleaner... after the cans gone your jets will be clean af... js... this is the real way to clean carbs easy af... you can even add it right to the fuel tank... js... carb cleaner is meant for that shit..it will clean the whole line out

So everyone just pulls the chain back not mentioning anything about slack being correct. Is that an assumption it is always correct or you don't give a shit and just drop the chain whenever it gets loose and you can do that in the back? Or you're saying that even with chain too loose when it's not worn pulling it of the back of the sprocket should not be possible? As that sounds physically hard to believe.
@Michael_De_La_Rosa2 ай бұрын
Was wondering the same. I think it’s safe to say that the pulling test is performed with chain slack set correctly.

Learn Plumbing, learn to electrical learn how to grade an excavator, learned about my well pump, learned about my septic tank. I’m always trying to do everything myself to save money, but I do not want to take on this motorcycle. I just purchased!I’m sick of doing everything I’m gonna bite the bullet and pay a mechanic at a motorcycle shop. Just wanted to make sure I educate myself so they don’t rip me off thank you, sir.
