"People Who Must" By Carl Sandburg ............... 2011pm 28.5.24 or those who are asked if they enjoy playing rugby retort that it's not something they enjoy moreover something they have to do. akin to the young child who rushes home froms chool to suggest he must got to the football game, it's something he has to do.. that kindda attitude gets a thumbs up in some homes...

If only they had build a train bridge across the Bering Strait in the 1910s instead of having a world war there could've been many Train Hotels travelling around 5 of the 7 continents. Much cheaper & more fun than war.

Nuts! These sorts of things are now turning up on airliners. Compare the luxury liner of the early 1900s, say the Lusitania, to any modern cruise ship of today, say the Queen Anne of the Cunard company.

My style is art Deco meets industrial, mixed with geometric shapes artwork with a pinch of cubist style artwork - wrapped in modern. Lol What a combo - but I love it! The funny thing - it doesn't really match my personality or clothing style. I am so about jeans or leather pants - shorts, t-shirts, socks - no shoes on in the house; closed-toed sandals and comfy loose fitting winter clothes. Lol

Gorgious! Its so bitter sweet. They exist now only in our memories only in the one and zeros of our machines. Bitter sweet. We must create the grand archive. The depository of every bit of data digital analogue and organic. Every picture every sound. All of it. A massive time capsule of our people. Whats perhaps more heart breaking is the lose of all the artifacts of our ancestors. Precious sculptures and arts.

This is the future for long distance travel but totally modernized. Helium lift, solar panels power large electric fans. Computer controlled with satellite weather data. Safe - Cheap - Silent - Fast.
@thetooginator1534 күн бұрын
The only problem is that the supply of helium is finite, but the uses for helium are infinite. Helium is used in MRI machines to cool down the electrical conductors, and it seems that only helium can get the conductors cold enough. Helium can only be made by fusing hydrogen atoms in a fusion reactor (or in the sun), so, filling dirigibles with helium might not be the best use for the limited supply.
@RemusKingOfRome4 күн бұрын
@@thetooginator153 wow, my reply was deleted, here it is again. Plenty of helium deep in the earth just need the commitment to find it.
@MrAlsachti3 күн бұрын
Unfortunately, Helium is expensive, airships are slow and cannot have many passengers, and need good weather to travel safely.
@RemusKingOfRome3 күн бұрын
@@MrAlsachti Seen the price of Helium lately ? It crashed. Airship only needs to transport a family - 1 to 6 people. Airship will adjust height to avoid bad weather.
