Should I still put the peppers under a grow light in my garage during winter or will they be fine without?
@ALJenGardensАй бұрын
They will be fine if the garage does not remain completely dark. If it stays dark then about 2 hours a day will work. The idea is for them to remain dormant

If you pull the scapes now and wait until all leaves at the bottom are brown you’ll have a bigger bulb if you wait, you’re allowing the bulbs to receive what energy was going to the scapes. that’s what I’ve been told from several. The scapes can be used just as you would use garlic, or some make pesto with them.

Oregano can be a garden bully, if you let her grow as she pleases. The strawberry plants look so good. I'm going to try the grits for the ants.

So glad you explained about the pots. I was just tussling in my mind trying to figure out how that worked in such a large bed. Also, it reminded me of that little bear you put in brown sugar. Can you provide a link or store to where to find these types of pots proven to work in these large beds?
@ALJenGardens9 ай бұрын
You can find these specifically in my storefront on Amazon if you are interested www.amazon.com/shop/gardenerkaybee?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsfshop_aipsfgardenerkaybee_H9WV70S34WHBDG2VNQT8

Great usage building up underneath with all you used.. at the beginning of this video I was wondering how much soil it was gonna take. You just showed me an awesome way to build it up with compostable things. I look forward to seeing your new videos. Now I want to see if you have a link for this raised bed, the ones I have are wooden and I think after this year, I may need to retire one of them. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us. Blessings from TN.
@ALJenGardens9 ай бұрын
I started with wood myself and have a mixture of both now. I caught these beds on sale end of the season last year and just put the together. The height can make em a lil pricey. I do have some in my Amazon link. Thanks for joining me in the garden.

I looked at them on your Amazon, I added it on my “wish list”. I’m not getting it now. may look in to one late Summer. right now we’re planning out our garden bed,finally got it tilled up. Will put plants in the ground around the 20th Lord Willing…I am really enjoying my GreenStalk though.

I just got my GreenStalk in Thursday, finally got it filled up with soil. Mine is half leaf (7 inch tall pocket)and half original(10 inch pockets). I could not find pro mix anywhere around me. I went with Fox Farms. But I’m stumped on which to stack at the top portion. I did get the cover for the waterer, we have a lot of wind, and it’s going to collect debris if I didn’t have it.

I am going with the lighter smaller veggies & flowers towards the top

@ALJennGardens I’m for sure doing strawberries on the top 2 pockets. I’ve had those plants for 2 weeks. My husband and I are getting everything planted in it tomorrow. I am going to plant some bush beans in the bottom, I’ve got the plant supports if needed. Happy Greenstalking!😊💚🍓🥬🥕🌻🌞🎋🌱🥰
