Ant Traps

Here is what I hope can be a helpful way for you to safely get rid of these pesky ants. True enough ants can help pollinate, but these red ants in my garden space will take over, help bring aphids to the party and in large amounts will make gardening not so fun. especially for a gardener like me who does not like to use my gloves. FIRE ANTS BITE!! I use a 2:1 ratio of sugar to Borax and add enough water to make it a syrupy consistency.
I will use Diatomaceous Earth as well on some not so rainy days. But this is just one method I use for the ants in particular without introducing "chemicals/pesticides" in the garden area.
