I didnt know you could drive a CVT that hard. I baby mine. Gentle acceleration. Even on the highway. And i try not to go over 70 mph. Ive heard the heat generated in the CVT pulleys from driving high speeds can cause the belt to slip or break.

Had a Camaro with the LT1, and a Corvette with the LS3, I'd give a slight edge to the LS3 in terms of sound. I think both sound better than the new LT2 on the C8s though

It’s not what I would call “Rev Hang” it’s the fact they should have put the Tremic manual in all 6-Speeds! I’m not a Mustang hater, I HAVE the exact same car and year, even color minus the red leather and I hate that MT82 transmission. It locks me out of second and third gears when I push it hard and the gears feel sloppy. I have replaced the shifter with a STEEDA short throw and that helped but only a Tremic swap will fix the problems.

Excellent vehicle, I have one and love it. If buying one, remember to check the coolant - learn from me. A week after I bought mine, I found myself paying $2,700 for a water pump replacement. The only Achilles heel of this engine, other than that no major probs.

Very nice vehicle, but still to expensive compared to other similar sized EVs on the market, which are in the mid forties. The Mach E with AWD is more bang for the buck. Also it’s been out longer, so most of the bugs have been worked out compared to the new Blazer with allot of tech issues reported buy Consumer Reports.
@Nebula17012 ай бұрын
A lot of those issues have already been resolved. Lots of publications were quick to pounce on anything. Blazer also had a price cut.

3-5 grand. More like 14 grand in Florida. But as long as it was taken care of, not kept in the rust belt, and necessary work (ball joints, belt and water pump, bearing carrier, front and rear busings (all parts being nothing but Toyota, oil changes every five with synthetic, tranny, diff, and radiator fluids every fifty k miles) it IS WELL WORTH THE 14 grand you’ll pay out here for it. Mine is not as pretty but a 2000 limited and maintained (so it has faded paint and and I upgraded to the larger front disks as per the TSB) cost me 10500 for it and it’s only a 2nd without LSD or locker. I put another 3k into and did ALL the work myself and I WILL NOT SELL IT. It drives VERY NICE. All I need to do now is replace the valve cover gaskets, tube seals, and grommets to stop the “Tundra oil leak” and down the road replace the exhaust manifolds to stop the “Tundra tick.” I’ve Emily had for maybe a year and had two people who really wanted to buy it. It is super simple in design, SUPER EASY TO WORK ON AS A DIY (amateur) mechanic, and drives super well and easy. The only other suggestion is a couple of sandbags over the rear axle. It has plenty of torque to break traction easily. I have seen several videos of this 4.7 without the VVT lose a timing belt without killing the engine. I’m sure the VVT 4.7 is a different story (hence change it every 100k with the water pump no matter what). The only other pain in the ass is starter replacement. Intake has to come off and there little room to remove the three bolts so it takes some patience but very doable.

Just got a white one a couple of weeks ago, love this car! Same price, got a great trade in on my to tiny 2020 Bolt! The shift is fluid and easy immediately! The important stuff is in buttons below the screen and most used apps are movable to the top row! Downloaded the Waze app so I don’t need Apple! Adaptive cruise is great mine is dual motor and independent tests on KZbin found the range to be 315-320 miles! Guess I was lucky to get AWD for the same price! Actually to big inside as it is hard to get both elbows on the supports! Mine are 21” wheels- big enough! I was looking at Mach-e before and it appeared to have narrow bike tires in comparison! These tires are very wide and ride very smoothly! Will probably trade it on a supercruise model in a couple of years but I may decide adaptive cruise may be plenty! Side bike alert is on mine and intersection braking appears to be on mine, it shows bikes around me! My only problem is the locking alert as it is loud and may wake neighbors at night so I manually lock the doors when I leave! My Bolt auto locking was not so loud! My 1st EV was a 2013 Ford Focus EV which I traded on a 2020 Bolt EV and now 2024 Blazer EV! I will never buy a gas car again! Mirrors will also auto fold on exit!

make sure you replace the cue screen. The 2013 used glue in their touch screen so they could get dry and crack. The install is quite fast though. Make sure the screen is for 2013 cue system since the 2016+ have a different plug-in pins.
