As I explained in the video, when you WQE you are a single step away from the edge, so it's very easy to move your W by accident and ruin the setup. Casting W a split second after E gives you a slightly bigger margin for error.

Hey nice video it was very informative. I m getting into league rn thanks to Dota cuz I the new player experience is just better there so I finally started Liking MOBAs and I like both games a lot. Currently I'm learning the game with Gwen and I love her. The QE combo is really useful to know. One thing I like to do is when the enemy laner is one hit and is on the edge of his tower I dash to the outer edge of the tower zone and do my Q which works surprisingly well except that one time where I was to greedy and got hooked in to the tower.

in which matchups would you start e level 1 rather than q?

E is more of a defensive start, I prefer it into ranged matchups (since they outrange your Q) and difficult matchups where you need to disengage/dodge an ability level 1 (ex. Urgot E, Olaf Q). Q start is stronger offensively, gives zone control against short range champs and makes it easier to hit level 2 before your opponent. In this game I should have gone Q start honestly.

First Strike is basically always viable with the pen build, in S14 you'd simply replace Rocketbelt with Shadowflame. Conqueror is also good it's just a matter of preference.

It's explained in the tooltip. The guide's purpose is to give advice on how to use the abilities and explain any interactions that aren't already explicitly mentioned. I don't go over the abilities individually so it does assume that you've read her tooltips. To be honest, there are very few cases where you'd manually want to recast W anyway, I personally never do it.

Yeah Gwen jungle is viable, it's just quite passive. This season I'm actually playing Gwen in mid/jungle only on an alt to see how far I can get with that.

hey, new season what is a good build for gwen? i usually go for nashors -> riftmaker -> cosmic drive. for runes i go for lethal tempo. any suggestions? thx

Generally I either go Nashors <-> Riftmaker -> Deathcap with Conqueror OR Nashors -> Shadowflame -> Deathcap with First Strike

I'm not entirely sure because I never run Flash on Gwen, but I do believe it'd just center on your new position when you Flash out of your W.
