i really like gwen gamestyle but i never played any role besides maining sona support and jungler as kayn, but after watching your montage i think i need to try gwen, thank you so much for that and i hope i can learn her fast and doing 10% of what you did would be enough for me. wish you the best my dude!

At the end, against shen, what is that white number that has a few ticks of damage? where does it come from? i thought it was red buff, but you don't have that. Confused

Hi there ! Do you think gwen is viable at all mid ? I am a midlane player and sometimes I play jungle too , im not really particularly interested in top . If it is playable what build / runes would you recommend , and what matchups are a big nono ?

Yes, I do think she's viable in mid! I know of a number of people who climbed to Master with it. From what I've seen she's generally good into immobile mages and certain melee matchups like Sylas, but struggles into some of the more slippery champions like LeBlanc/Akali/Yasuo. I also advise using the Rocketbelt build in mid for the extra burst and mobility. Can't go wrong with Conqueror, First Strike is also viable but a little more difficult to use.

I think it's viable. I don't personally use Rod of Ages because it's quite weak until it's stacked. Even after the 10 minutes the payoff feels a bit underwhelming since the mana is redundant and I don't like the "randomness" of the passive. It's definitely not a bad option though!

​@@niconicoshi I agree that Riftmaker is often lackluster, it's why I usually build Rocketbelt when I'm not playing into a tank. To each their own though, there's a bunch of alternatives :)
