So much common sense. Just love his point of view. So much of it i remember as a kid and it’s still so true today!

Bill, someday everyone is going to look back on your series of interviews as the single greatest contribution to the history of dog husbandry and dog handling history. These golden words are treasures for the people who take the time to listen and learn.

Yes! It made me so much more drawn to the sport, pay attention, watch interviews and some of them again and again. There is nothing of this quality, Will is so easy when talking to people, listens good, doesn't interrupt, is prepared and always so genuine.

Not sure why this popped up for me, but "Hey!" I used to show dogs in Canada, and anything about showing dogs will be interesting. Hope you have some Cairn Terriers on here! (I show in CA now, where I am...and Bill and Taffe, too!)

lol, I didn't pick up my dog's poop, but they only pooped in Will's yard at his house 😆

When you know what you are doing, I can guarantee the dog will stand like this even with no training. I just got a 4.5 month old puppy and with proper stack he stayed beautifully. Then even free stacked afterwards. The video is a great EXAMPLE of how to do it.

The winning edge. That book really helped us achieve our goals. We read it. Set our goals and used techniques shared. My dog earned a invitation to westminster this year. Thank you for writing the book

I don't understand why you spend so much of your money on AKC fees and expenses. It's a monopoly. How can you afford to retire?

So, an answer to the NOHS question is there is no way to track the dogs that are asterisked in the catalog that ACTUALLY are owner handled. So it's pretty impossible to count actual numbers.

I really enjoyed this! The inly thing that would make it better would be saying dogs registered names. I was very involved in poodles years ago but then stopped when I went to college and vet school. I went from poodles to dobes when I got a puppy from Todd Patterson and Jerry Edwards. It just was impossible to keep poodles in coat with a pre vet curriculum.

To say I was shocked to read this, is putting it mildly. I remember when he was just a very young man who lived at Annie Clark's house. to just read he passed was hard to read. He lived his Dream and not many can say that. May he RIP

Will, I have to admit to being one who doesn’t appreciate interviews unless I have a personal connection to the interviewees. I absolutely loved this interview, especially because of his reverence to ARC and her husband and to Mr and Mrs Forsythe all or whom were so influential in my life in dogs, in handling them and ultimately in judging them. Thank you for this momentous interview; my heart breaks for all the judges who will never now have the honour of showing to Mr Kaz Hosaka and seeing perfection presented perfectly.

Two legends, Kaz and Mrs Clark. I finished my boy under ARC, she said it was like taking candy from a baby, I was so intimidated. She was a person to remember, as was Kaz. He was such a genuine, honest and real person.

Thank you for this one Will! Mr. Hosaka is a true inspiration for all. 45 years of dedication and devotion to the sport of purebred dogs and namely the Poodle. I will never forget the times I have witnessed him doing his artistry in the ring. A true legend!

I wish there was "Love" button, not just the thumbs up. I distantly watched Mr. Hosaka since I was afraid to talk to him at shows...I am a Japanese and always wondered if I talk to him in Japanese or English and lost courage when thinking about which language !!! I also thought he was busy working, so did not want to disturb him. I'm glad you interviewed him. Thank you.
