The target mac in arp packet should be ffff instead of 0000.

Remember it’s the first time ping and no arp learning happend at any Ethernet segment, so to contract a frame first you need the arp resolved, hence arp request needed

ARP request is basically to find that target address hence it sets as all zeros , the receiving host when sees it own ip address as destination ip replies with its own Mac and replaces all zeros with its mac

just a though: client/server traffic wont carry multi vlan traffic right? So switchmode trunk, wont help. Typical access/host traffic should do

On my setup I set it as switchport mode trunk so I Was just wondering why you opted for access because it is true MLAG peer link mostly carries control traffic but it can carry data traffic in the eventuality that devices connected to one of the MLAG peers have no alternative path, in that case VLAN traffic has to use the peer link and if the port are not in trunk mode traffic won't go through

Noted : Layer 3 switch, all the ports in the switches are Access Ports Scenario : Access ports communicates within the same vlan, it won't communicates from one vlan to another vlan if it want to communicates from one vlan to another vlan, that process what we defined as Intervlan, using the device Layer 3 switch or Router Exact scenario : Here, all the 3 PC's are connected with L3 switch, whereas it acts as Layer 2 switch. Because when comes to Layer 3 switch, Layer 1 & Layer 2 will be active, so Layer 3 simply does not works for this scenario & it reminds quiet. Layers 1 & 2 : switch ports, read & understand the MAC address, frame transfer (requests & replies) using access ports (within Vlan), secure check, ARP (if required). so, there is no works for Layer 3 here & it reminds quiet.

In 6:33 time in your video, DR and BDR election does not happen in ExStart state. In ExStart state Master / Slave relationship is agreed upon. DR / BDR election happens in 2-Way state.

Won’t work, because your P router is going to advertise label 3 (PHP) for the P-PE2 link to PE1. So if PE1 sends labeled VPN traffic, there is no Transport label, no P router has no reference of the VPN label and is going to black hole the traffic.

It will not work , PE1 will itself pop the label and do l3 lookup as it is PHP node and p1 is advertising a pop label for its directly connected intf which connects to p1 and pe2. Using loopback we are making sure pop happens on p1 and not on pe1
