I am so sad to hear that Tra Tel RV Park has closed! We stayed there six months. I think that was 12 years ago. It was not a fancy place but we liked to feel! We are more into somewhat primate desert life. I feed the gambrel quell while we were here. I really enjoyed feeding them! I put insulated bootys on my golden retriever’s feet due to the hot pavement! I still have cactus that the park manager gave me.

My daughter and I went to Zion with no intention of climbing Angels Landing back in 2021. We decided to climb to Scout Lookout and just check out the view there. When we got up there my daughter decided she wanted to do it (this was before permits). I didn't want to sit and wait worrying about her, so I decided to go with her. It was surreal, couldn't believe I was doing it and I can't even remember how many times I said "there should really be chains here", but we made it and the view at the end was worth it - and of course the feeling of accomplishment. I'm glad I did it, but don't think I would do it again

CODE OF COLORADO REGULATIONS Taxpayer Service Division - Tax Group A person who lives in a motorized home and does not own or lease residential real property that they treat as their home in another state will be treated as a (full-year) domiciliary of Colorado if they have permanent ties to the state and spend, in the aggregate, more time in this state than in any other. However, a person who owns a home in another state but travels seasonally or periodically to Colorado will not, in the absence of other factors, be treated as a domiciliary of Colorado.
@ClassCBroads22 күн бұрын
As I mentioned, folks need to consult with their attorney and tax professionals about their particular circumstances. This is a good example of Colorado position, but may not reflect that of other states.

Locals pronounce it Gwah-HO-meee. It's named after a rancho & there is a school nearby with the same name. I lived near there for years & walked my dogs there every day. You were lucky to get a space there. The ranunculus made me homesick, we took our daughter into the fields every year for photos & it was free & about 4 times as big.

Here's our blog about our DEF problem and the DEF Sensor Simulator: www.classcbroads.com/blog/def-sensor-simulator-parts-list-is-it-worth-building
@stuwardw2 ай бұрын
DEF systems are a mostly useless nightmare. Great video as always, thank you!
@ClassCBroads2 ай бұрын
The idea behind DEF isn't necessarily bad; it's just the execution in the system. We are hoping that the newer systems get better. (And thank you for watching...as always!)
@stuwardw2 ай бұрын
@ClassCBroads the problem with DEF, in my opinion, is that you get worse MPG (approximately 2 MPG) than without it, and you throw out multiple 2.5 gallon plastic nonrecyclable containers everytime you fill it. I don't believe the small amount of good makes up even a fraction of the bad it does. Not even mentioning the manufacturing process and weight of the DEF systems themselves or the wear and tear on the engines from the system. Sorry for the rant
@ClassCBroads2 ай бұрын
@@stuwardw That's a great point about the plastic bottles we keep using! I hadn't thought of that.

Long comment here: So while I’m sorry you got the dreaded DEF code but kind of glad you did so you could share with all of us! We recently got the Amber DEF code while traveling through Eastern Washington in 100+ degree weather with five dogs. I panicked and the husband was cool as could be. We had it at Freightliner PNW they couldn’t figure it out cleared the code. So next trip out came on again. Like you made several calls. Got FCCC involved and the service manager at Freightliner. Found a faulty valve. Claims its fixed….we have our next trip in two weeks. I fully expect it to come on again but at least after seeing your video I feel like I can deal with it better. Our unit is a 2020 new to us and has that Scan Gauge and I had no idea what it does. Looks like I need to do some Google research to figure out how to use it. Thank you again. You have a new follower - really enjoy your videos! Safe travels.!!

We feel your frustration. Let's hope that your rig is indeed fixed. Keep us posted. PS: Give tummy rub to those FIVE dogs for us. Finally -- someone who is just as crazy about pups as we are!

We recently spent a couple of weeks at a Freightliner Shop working through a cab AC issue that they couldn’t figure out with our Super C. They finally researched Service Bulletins from Freightliner regarding our issue. Not the best time ever, but all part of the journey. Luckily, they had electrical hookups and a dump station. Glad your issue was resolved. Beer makes everything better! Safe Travels!

So glad you are back and made it through an "adventurous" few days there! You have that ability to just "go with the flow" and not get too flustered, at least not on camera! Of course, that wouldn't be keeping it classy. Any hints on where you'll be during the Fall and Winter months? Wishing you safe and enjoyable travels always!
@ClassCBroads2 ай бұрын
The "on camera" is right on point. There were many f-bombs thrown when we were trying to test the DEF sensor simulator. We're still in the air on where we will be the next few months, but it is probably not where you would think....

thanks for this honest review. I am a similar age, similar level fan and this tour is also on my bucket list. At least this manages my expectations. I too would much prefer more of a glimpse into his personal life than just a tour guide through the music - which is widely available and widely known. Those little tidbits about someone's real life are the gold.. and sounds like there is not enough of it on this tour despite the very steep cost.

Try Liquefied
@ClassCBroads2 ай бұрын
We've heard about that product. For now, we are going to stick with Kleen Tank's recommendation on the Pine Sol - Calgon mixture. After the rally, we have a better understanding of why it should work -- at least in theory. Kleen Tank told us that all of the products that liquify actually do their job, but the problem is that the fine particulate matter has a tendancy separate out and fall to the bottom of the tank and collect. When the black stuff isn't liquified and doesn't stick to the tank (because the Calgon helps with that), then there should still be more than enough room in a 3" drain to clear that everything out with water. We'll see.
