Yep, the herd was a little spread out. There was also that one guy at the end that needed his own little roundup! Thank you SO MUCH to you and the other cowboys/cowgirls/cowpals for letting us get to be a part of this experience. Custer State Park is something special.

Largely staffed by native peoples of whom I asked where did they come from (I had been studying DNA of indigenous peoples), so I knew that they were of Chinese ancestry. Needless to say they were unhappy with the suggestion that they to came from somewhere other than 'here'.

Please don't let that little interaction sour you on the experience. Yes, like many creatures in North America, they crossed the ancient land bridge from Asia. Amazing to think about!
