This plow is a piece of shit. The bracket that mounts to the frame isn’t made correctly and doesn’t pivot down. It only pivots backwards. I had to use an angle grinder to remove metal to make it work.

So what is the correct order to shift gears in?

Mine is like slipping off with a loaded mag in.. If you press down on the top you can feel it catch but it slips more than not

Can you give the part number for the filter? I have a 2015 rancher. The filter looks exactly like the one in this video. But the book shows CH6015 which is tiny in comparison with what came out of it.

Do the clutch nuts need to be torqued to a certain spec? Should lock-tite be added to the clutch nuts?

My 1991 bayou 300 is really hard to pull over on compression stroke and when it does get running for about 10 seconds, it backfires through the carb too. I will try to adjust the valves and we will see how it goes. My quad is acting like the valves are waaaaaay too loose and the valve doesn't open soon enough so it gets stuck on compression stroke.

I replaced my belt and slid the belt as far as it would go down on the primary clutch. I see this one is pretty much at the top. Maybe that's why it broke lol. Whoops.

I have the same battery. Most of the cells on it(probably 4 or 5 of them) are at the lower level line. Does that mean I need to refill it? And do I fill it with acid or distilled water? Ive been having a little bit of battery trouble but it still works ok after a charge.

I made the mistake of rushing the process now 4 short rides later (two night rides) my battery is shot and i am buying a new one today.

Is the 'knocking' sound under acceleration common? Mine does it and one other Sportsman 500 sounds the same. Has done this since I got it 10 years ago. I had a Kawasaki 300 years ago that made the same noise when on the gas.

At 37 seconds, what is the copper/brown looking part that he grazes with the wrench, on the way into the bolt? I obtained a used 2000 rancher, and it has that part, but someone seems to have "melted" a small hole near the bottom and inserted a gas overfill tube inside. 🤷

Got a question. I had to replace front wheel bearings in the Brake Drum on a 94 Trx300 2x4. Should I grease the axle a little upon reinstalling the drum or is it ok just like it is?
