I am about to purchase a Honda atv for the first time. Can't decide between 420FA or 520FE. I had a Cforce 625 Touring before, and may say, that Honda's last forever

We've never tested Cforce machines. Go with Honda.

Totally new to these and a silly question. Could you ride in automatic mode with flip flops on (no shifting) ? Would be using in lake neighborhood and not extreme off road. Thanks.

You could comfortable ride in flops, this model does not have a foot shift lever, everything is on the handle bars.

My DCT does 49 in either mode. I'd s a y a safe cruise is around 35 tops for extended cruising

The DCT model in the video has handlebar selectability between fully auto or manual.

You also need the EPS rancher not just the plain old foot shift one
