My husband and I are going through a major loss of the church, we've been a part of 44 years. This song has been on daily replay for me.

Such a beautiful song!! I'd been reading Romans 8:11 about the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us as believers! And I'm thinking of my family friend who sadly passed away 3 days ago & know that she is home with her heavenly Father who raised her from death to life where she no longer has no sickness or pain, but eternal life in heaven. And I am comforted by God's Spirit that although my earthly body may grow weak, I have this hope found in Christ Jesus that God will take me thru this life to do His will till He too, will call me home to be reunited with loved ones. This song has had a deeper resonance with me this very week - with the passing of a dear friend Steve Legg. It was only a few short weeks ago we were laughing together over a curry and now Steve is in Glory but leaving behind sober and silent friends. Yet again another song that brings tears through its delicate restraint but eternal truths. The words of this song - this very week - have been a meditation of loss, of love and the preciousness of life that God gives and takes away. I will see Steve again in Glory and this song has helped me find perspective through the tears. Thank you.

This song is totally me at a crossroads season in life right now. It's knowing I can't stay where I am or I'll regret holding on to seeds which could rot in my hands, but also knowing that once I sow the seeds, it's praying and cultivating. Heard this song first at my cousin Richard’s funeral on live stream from Australia last night. As someone who has experienced depression I was deeply moved. Only someone who has been in the dark place of depression can understand the pain and hopelessness that is felt. Jesus lifted me out of the mirey clay and put my feet on solid ground. This song depicts the coming out from darkness so beautifully. It also is a fitting image of moving from this world of struggle into the glorious presence of our saviour, when our time on earth is through. This is the hope that all who know Jesus have. On my way home today I heard a testimony on Premier Praise from a believing lady who lost her daughter to illness despite believing in healing, even raising the dead. But their daughter died. This lady cried out so many “Why”s to God. But God asked her “If I was to answer you, is there an answer that would help?”. No, there wasn’t. Then God asked her to give her “why”s as an offering to Him. Man, I could hardly see to drive! Then they played this song…….. Soooo good. Thank you
