Dick Clark once said he's the greatest lead singing voice of all times there's one better live clip at Madison Square Garden 1974 of The Skyliners singing both their great hits This I Swear and Since I Don't Have You where Janice Vogel really hits the high note and holds on to it. She was Angelic and then committed suicide what a shame! And then Jimmy Beaumont the lead singer lost his voice soon after and couldn't sing it anymore like this Great Pittsburgh Group!

❤. We remember when these were new! What a time to have been only 8 yrs old then. We have a lot to be grateful for, the new generation can never understand. A beautiful song written by Kenny Nolan, and Frankie rocks it out!! ❤❤

I actually enjoy this vocal track he's lip syncing to more than the the original vocal. He's been using it for years, and I hope he uses it for many more.

As an ex-pro musician all I can say is ...I was lucky enough to catch them live at The Old State Theater in Hartford and then again at the Brooklyn Paramount in NY...Jimmy really nailed it on the last verse after the bridge.....CLASSIC R&R BALLAD OF ALL TIME.

Only remaining member just dies comedic stuff. No real members. Stop ripping people off at these concerts these sixties groups with one or no original members.

Ive always been a 50s and 60s guy for my favorite era but theres a lot of underappreciated performers from that time and jimmy beaumont and the skyliners recorded some of the best records of that era..

So I believe that the 'boy band' background singers were brought in as a distraction ro take away drom the fact that he is lip syncing. He started using them around the time he is alleged to have stopped singing live and, like an illusionist, it's all about taking th attention away from where he doesn't want it to be i.e. his lips!

Hebrews 9:27 will eventually get us all. It's a good thing we have John 3:16 to embrace.
