The only musicians in the 20th century that AFFECTED culture were the Beatles. Frankie Vali and the Four Seasons were quite successful and sold many records. They didn't even change music as no one followed their lead.

You can criticize the lip sync all you want. Here you have the opportunity to see a legend live. How much longer will that opportunity last? His backup is likely grandchildren age of the originals. I have seen live performances of this era performers without the lip sync and most of the time I left with a sad feeling because the performer sounded nothing like the original recording I have been listening to for decades.
