The footage of the war plane is in Vilu. We walked from there to the Kusika Catholic church, so it was nearby enough for us to walk! If you have better information, please share so we can get our facts straight.

Yes, it's in the description, it's called "Tsonikaea God" and marks the entrance of the procession.

@@Rudiger-jh5fd When we interviewed the singers the said they had never heard a recording of it before, it was taught aurally. They are reading lyrics however and I imagine these can be found somewhere. I'll see what I can find. - Andrew

I love my Trini parang. I miss going to parang fetes. I live in the US & listen to it when Christmas comes around. I think the Spanish & Patois languages can come back if the Government of T&T put it on the curriculum from elementary schools. I believe Daisy Voisoin tried for them to introduce Spanish in school. Total stupidity.
