It has been five years!!!~ Since a comment. I play the CD. Still love it. But why does your company have no reviews. Or is it blocked by a need to subscribe? Elizabeth Hobby. A believer!!!

This community church choir is not in Vilu, it’s Kusika Catholic Church. Get your fact straight next time.

The footage of the war plane is in Vilu. We walked from there to the Kusika Catholic church, so it was nearby enough for us to walk! If you have better information, please share so we can get our facts straight.

Anybody know the name of the hymn?
@ATreeWithRootsMusic6 ай бұрын
Yes, it's in the description, it's called "Tsonikaea God" and marks the entrance of the procession.

Googled it and couldn't find it, are the lyrics written anywhere?
@ATreeWithRootsMusic6 ай бұрын
@@Rudiger-jh5fd When we interviewed the singers the said they had never heard a recording of it before, it was taught aurally. They are reading lyrics however and I imagine these can be found somewhere. I'll see what I can find. - Andrew

I saw Geoff a couple times up in MA and RI. A talented musician who I’m guessing has retired from the road. The generation of greatness is slipping away.

The recording started nearly halfway through the CREED-The core belief of Anglicanism of which Church of Melanesia is part of. Here is the creed: WE believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things seen and unseen. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, eternally begotten from the Father, God from God: Light from Light; true God from true God; begotten not made; being of one substance with the Father; through whom all things were made; who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was made flesh, by the Holy Spirit, of the Virgin Mary, and became man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried; and the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father; and he shall come again, with glory, to judge both the living and the dead; his rule shall have no end. And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who comes from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the Prophets. And we believe one holy Catholic and Apostolic church; we believe one baptism for the forgiveness of sins; and we look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.

I love my Trini parang. I miss going to parang fetes. I live in the US & listen to it when Christmas comes around. I think the Spanish & Patois languages can come back if the Government of T&T put it on the curriculum from elementary schools. I believe Daisy Voisoin tried for them to introduce Spanish in school. Total stupidity.

A few fantastic shows I saw there; Linda Ronstadt singing a bluegrass concert with Country Gazette; Mance Lipscomb; Clarence and Roland White; Ricky Jay; Michael Cooney; Maria Muldaur; Fat City; Buffalo Nickel Jug Band. The first store was a lot smaller and much more fun. I recall almost all of these tickets were well under $5. What do they run nowadays?
