Oh, man you right😢 especially for tattoo artists it's dead, but unfortunately it's only platform to reach your local customers. Don't think that youtube can be competitive especially if I just want to do my job, not videos. And it's good reason for me is put money in some other business not in ads.

I use to call IG a happy place to see creative reels and photos from friends, but now it takes work to weed through all the noise. I'm posting less and less, and putting in way less effort to create for that platform.

I get that constantly changing the algorithm makes it tougher for artists to get noticed, but honestly, I think what’s happening with your account-and a lot of others-is that you haven’t adapted the way you present your work to align with Instagram’s current approach. I wouldn’t put all the blame on Instagram for that! There are so many ways to get visibility these days; they’re just different, and you have to evolve if you want to stay relevant. If going viral is your goal, maybe give TikTok a shot. Or, if you’re aiming to connect with other creatives, platforms like Behance could work better. Just don’t pin it all on the platform-it’s about how you adapt.

I mean what the point of looking at generated imagery? Authors skills in picking least warped image from a database? Isnt it a waste of energy and time for both author and viewer? Just wondering what is the concept. I personally use ai referencing for crazy ideas.

I now only use both Instagram and Facebook for gathering information on certain events and keeping in touch with friends. I have removed all my content from the last 15+ years and locked everything down. I might try and concentrate on KZbin (I have had an account for years and post stuff occasionally) or I might just carry on enjoying my photography again for myself.

Does same exact job as Pixelmator Pro...I have Aiarty...am still comparing to Pixelmator Pro but so far they are neck and neck...Pixelmator of course is a full editor so no need for exporting and then importing into another editor.

I completely agree, Instagram has totally changed in the last few years and in my opinion it has become toxic and especially the digital art world has suffered a lot. I personally used to feel a lot more joy and consistency in posting work, they were able to have good interactions but lately everything has dropped dramatically. There are very few interactions, it almost seems like people don't see what I post anymore and that makes you fall into discouragement, also because you spend so many hours in creations. In any case, I don't want to stop creating or posting what I like because of an algorithm, but we definitely need to integrate other skills or other ways of communicating and riding the wave.
