Interesting apartment, could not quite work out if it was yours or an Airbnb, Nonetheless the standards seem reasonable, Not opulent but i think i would be ok staying such a place. Hoping to visit Ukraine soon myself.

Thank for the post. I know very little about the Ukrain, I did meet another person from Russia that shared a lot of music from the Ukrain. I have a large collections of the music, old and new. My favorite collection.

There's a Russian lady on youtube who had an even smaller apartment, literally bathroom+toilet and then a bedroom/ living room/ kitchen all in 1 room, she also had a small balcony that she put windows and a roof on. She completely renovated it and made me jealous that she turned the slum into a hotel suite XD but saying that, I am pretty sure she had an interior decorater friend.

It’s a great time to be young and free, these gals will have a lifetime of fond memories. However, I’m a bit older and so grateful for US construction code standards. Whoever lives on that top floor must be in good cardiovascular shape but hope and pray that you don’t get injured or ill if the building does not have an elevator.

You're sort of lucky that you had a chance to visit Donetsk when it was possible. I ended up living in Ukraine for almost 10 years and before 2014 I had planned to go there, but couldn't find the time. Sadly it's impossible now.

I thought they were Peace Corps volunteers at first, but as a former volunteer in Ukraine myself I knew that wasn't possible since they'd have been given separate apartments. I looked at some of their other videos and it turns out that they were taking part in a short-term missionary program called Adventures in Missions.
