Sherry, I save ALL of the "nice" store bags like this because they come in handy for various things. However, I have never thought to jazz them up for gift giving. This is wonderful! I have a box of real gift bags, but never seem to have the size I need. Since I have stacks of store bags like this, I'm be able to whip up the just-right one now. Just in time for Christmas! Sherry, your genius mind never run out of ideas. I absolutely love this idea to repurpose a bag. I will no longer throw them out. I had no idea something could be so creative and easy Peasy with a paper store bag. No more recycle of the bag but a crafty gift bag for any reason, any season, any gender, just any one! Ugh cooking for Thanksgiving, lol, but i finally made it. I made a sweet potato pie because i don't like pumpkin pie as much. Wish you were closer I'd bring you some. And to think that bag was free. It makes a beautiful gift bag . You can do any occasion. SO, the next time they say would you like a bag, you say YES MA'AM. It would be fun to decorate your own bag for the person your giving it to

Excellent idea. I also use the bags to create memory albums. On my vacation to the Smithsonian, I kept the paper bag from the gift shop, and made a mini memory journal.
