Luka and Abby were always endgame. But they started as lovers before friends. After the break up they became close friends. They knew each other so well by the time they became partners, then husband and wife. They knew each others flaws and accepted it. I loved watching their love story, especially during the pregnancy.

He kisses her stomach, the place, the beautiful vessel where his child grew. That is so lovely and sweet!!

"No more pop tarrrrrts!" He was caring for her, didn't want her to get gestational diabetes from all the sugar consumption. Maybe a bit overprotective but who can blame him?

I keep thinking about Luka standing in the cold winter wind staring at 3 wooden coffins that contained the lifeless broken bodies of his family. That same solemn expression on his face was in this scene, the possibility of a death of another of his children, another of which he would have no photo. And he pledged to love her despite this. The repressed look of relief when she said she didn't abort, he was on the brink of tears. Goran nailed it. Bitter and sweet scene.

I stop watching ER when Doug left, didn’t want to see Carol with anyone else. I’m just now discovering Luka and Abby. They were a hot and sexy couple. I’ve also seen some scenes with Abby and Carter…there is no comparison. They had no chemistry at all. Luka and Abby exudes passion and chemistry.

i just love how Abby randomly picks up a piece of her mail and notices the name change. Wow married five days and I’m already getting mail addressed to Mrs. Luka Kovać 😏Luka is beyond pleased 😉

This scene just proves to me what I’ve known since they first dated in season 7. Luka truly is deeply in love with Abby and wants her period. Child or no child. He knew where to find her. It didn’t matter if she kept that baby or not, she’s who he’s been wanting. All that mattered was Luka having his hearts desire. I was so happy she gave him a son. The loving connection they have has always been so strong and you feel it here.

Abby made another good decision here. She chose to tell Luka about the pregnancy, it was open for discussion. She knew how much he wanted children and let him put his two cents in while trying to reassure her fears about it. Gotta give her serious credit here. Luka is just looking at her like come on, we are not just good friends they love each other. When I first watched this I was like omg it’s Abby who was gonna give Luka a child again all along…❤

When they thought back to this moment of their first kiss, Luka was right. She would become a great doctor and who would of known the love of his life and mother to his son,Joe. It was sweet how they looked back at this moment as something really sweet that cemented their love story. Both needed each other ❤

Luka must of found Abby even more beautiful when she really started showing her pregnancy lol. I know the haters say he said during the season 8 break up she’s not that pretty or special and I’m like dude, every time Carter nosed his way in on his relationship, it really affected him but so many don’t know that Luka is the type to keep his emotions and feelings inside instead of wearing it on sleeve..Luka always found Abby to be beautiful, he only said all that garbage because he was provoked and the Carter issue hit its boiling point, he never meant any of that crap he said to Abby. If I remember correctly, Sam accused Luka of not talking or sharing his feelings or burying them. Abby and Luka share that quality, they aren’t always willing to openly share what they may be feeling or what’s on their mind. Abby had a lot of trauma from her childhood and Luka’s loss of his wife and kids was a huge trauma he didn’t always like talking about. That’s what happens with trauma, you try to block it out and bury it. Abby even said it was always easier to shut down than risk being hurt. The second round of Luby was even better, they were always talking and when she told Luka Of the pregnancy, she really opened up communication even more. Luka needed Abby just as much as Abby needed him. They could provide what they both need and no Carter lurking this time. Luka got his girl😁

I remember when Abby first asked Luka out. It was in the drug lock up and Luka spotted a feather in Abby’s hair and came up behind her and pulled it out of her hair and she was stumbling to get the words out and this was after she kissed him snd Luka just looked at her with such a smile and said see you tonight. Their first date is too adorable for words. Even cuter when Luka leaned in and kissed Abby ❤

I thought it was interesting how Abby didn’t jump to answer the lady’s question on whether or not this is their first kid. She thought of Luka’s children here but Luka answered for her. Their first kid together. ❤

Lol Luka was so cute here.. he wanted to enjoy his engagement to Abby privately for awhile and Morris and hope just wouldn’t let it be. Luka is right, him and Abby aren’t the glitz and glamor type. When Abby was exposed to a rich background with Carter she felt so out of place and it just wasn’t her thing, she didn’t even desire a big diamond ring. Having a ton of money was foreign to her so she sought something much more simple which is another reason her and Luka worked well together.

I give Abby a lot of credit here. She did something completely the opposite of what Sam did. She told Luka instead of hiding. She once told Maggie she was pregnant once before but got an abortion and did not inform Richard. She said that was the beginning of the end since they stopped talking. I think Abby wanted things to be different this time around and since she knew how much this means to Luka she felt she owed it to to him to tell him. Besides Luka meant a lot more to her than Richard did.

This scene makes your heart melt. Especially when Abby is like hey Joe there’s daddy and Luka holding his boy knowing why his son was in the Er to begin with😂 Luka can read Abby well. Also how he told Abby that patient is lucky to not have to remember losing his son every day and she knew what Luka meant about remembering his own children before her kissing his head while they both look at Joe with such love.

Luka is hilarious because he dropped the bomb on Abby possibly being pregnant with twins. Part of me wished she did have twins. Give Luka one of each again but I was happy she was giving him what he’s been wanting for so long.. Her and their family together. Lukas Croatian seed already took hold of her hahaha 🤣

I found it so funny how Abby was pestering a sleepy Luka to talk and I remember a time when Luka was pestering a sleepy Abby in his hotel at the time during season 7 by blowing the smell of coffee at her and trying to wake her up. Lol 😂 it resulted in Abby throwing a pillow in Lukas face. Now that Abby was talking to luka in bed they’re just so sweet to watch them when not in the hospital element. They connect so well and Abby is like wow we’re really having a baby together it’s really crazy with how much is changing and luka just looks back with a huge grin on his face aww 🥰 even funnier how Abby was gonna go grab another pop tart and Luka was like no more pop tarts lol 😂

The way Luka and Abby lean in closely with their faces before kissing is full of love. You can feel the love between them and When Abby was wondering if he’s just looking for a woman to have a baby with and he just looks at her like you really think that’s what this is? Luka loves Abby that’s been made apparent from the start. She stood by him no matter what through everything despite their romantic history before. Luka had been waiting for when they could give them another shot. He said they always found each other. Luka could read Abby well and it scared her.. the intense closeness between them is just so sweet. Of course luka would want to have a baby with Abby, it’s not about finding a woman to have a baby with it’s about finding the right one who he truly loves. Lukas been waiting for this moment since season 6. Abby and Luka just needed right timing and now it was, no more carter and no more bs. The time to truly have that chance to give into to their love. So beautiful.

Abby is who Luka was meant to find since he first appeared in season 6. Carol said he would find the one and it was always Abby. The reason she’s so stubborn is self protection even Maggie said it’s because of everything she had to endure in childhood and what she put Abby through. Luka was everything that Abby yearned for as a kid, stability, security and unconditional love in a man who loved for who she is flaws and all and she got that with Luka. Abby said so herself she knew what Luka is and she wanted that so much and it scared the hell out of her. Abby loved Luka dearly and she’d do anything for him and if she truly was set against that wedding, she wouldn’t of done it. She was overwhelmed by how much thought was put into and how much Luka listened to her about what she wanted. Luka is her stability her heart.

Gotta love Luka and Abby’s family life together. It’s so sweet to see them like that, anytime I’ve gone back to when they first met I’m like oh Luka bless your heart you met your future wife and mother of your son and haven’t realized it yet🥰 although during their first Christmas with Joe, he told Abby he recently came to know his brother was wrong about him running away that he was running to Abby 🥰
