This scene makes your heart melt. Especially when Abby is like hey Joe there’s daddy and Luka holding his boy knowing why his son was in the Er to begin with😂 Luka can read Abby well. Also how he told Abby that patient is lucky to not have to remember losing his son every day and she knew what Luka meant about remembering his own children before her kissing his head while they both look at Joe with such love.

"Di si babač?" OMG that was so cuuuuute!! he's basically saying "where are you, munchkin?" to Joe. hard to translate, but it's adorable. after in the locker room he's cooing "hey, walk? bravo, bravo...."

echelon chick Thanks a lot for the translation!! I never know what he's saying when he's talking in Croatian! lol But I could tell that it was cute! ;) I love that they're teaching their son both languages. Maybe Abby has learned a few expressions by now! Hehe

anyone else notice how CUTE it was when Joe put his head on Luka's sholder. Thats not something you can teach a kid.

I noticed that, too. You can tell how comfortable the baby is with him.

Anyone who doesn’t think Abby and Luka belong together, needs to watch this scene. It demonstrates so well how much they understand each other and the love between them.

I _totally_ agree with you!!! 👍 They are such a cute family, by the way. 😄 We could have _never_ felt or seen such strong and powerful spark, chemistry and (sexual) tension between Abby and Carter or Sam and Luka...

0:32 - 1:00 Abby and Joe will never replace Danijela and the kids. But Luka loves his new family as much as he loved the first one.

Of course not. Abby has always been loving and supportive when it came to Luka’s trauma of losing his first family. Notice how she looks at him and kisses Luka’s head after he said remembering losing his children every day. They even had a sweet moment in season 8 during Christmas when he was missing his kids and Abby knew it and always gave him emotional support. She’s always been in Luka’s corner with supporting him through the pain of that.

@@sadieyoung7397 Yeah kissing Luka's head was sweet. And you're absolutely right, Abby always gave Luka support whenever he missed his first family.

@@jadasims1914 I always loved that part of Abby and Luka. Luka didn’t like bringing up that painful memory a lot. Sam accused him of never talking or letting anyone in or hiding or pretending he doesn’t have feelings. Luka didn’t feel comfortable sharing too much. Abby knew not to force the subject unless he brought it up..She always knew what he needed. Some memories you really try to forget. Sam tried to force Luka to talk but Abby didn’t force him proving just how well they’re meant to be together.

@@sadieyoung7397 You're right. Luka didn't tell Sam about his past, but there are some things that people don't like to talk about. Sam was cute & all, but she had problems. Luka and Abby are definitely meant to be.

@@jadasims1914 I never bought Luka loved Sam. He told her that because he thought it was something she needed to hear to feel secure and because he wanted to play family. In all honesty what appealed to him the most was Alex. Driving the point further he just missed children and wanted one of his own. Yeah I knew Luka didn’t let Sam in for a reason, it wasn’t love. When Alex was rejecting Luka’s attempts to get closer as a dad he didn’t want it.. Luka was wanting a family that badly. However with Abby she knew some details of what happened to his first family but never pressed him on it. I think that’s why Abby and Luka meshed so well, she has very painful memories from her childhood via Maggie and Luka has very painful memories of loss of his first family. I loved how Luka was always wanting to make sure she’s okay when Maggie suddenly showed up because he knew Maggie was a big source of Abby’s emotional trauma. They just loved each other no expectations of what you should or shouldn’t be, for who they are.
