Do you need the cellular version of the Apple Watch Ultra to run the Arccos app without your phone, or is the GPS on the non-cellular version sufficient to do this like on Garmins?

My issue with this one, which is giving me buyers regret, is getting it aligned with the ball. It has to be perfectly aligned, and it takes some time to do that.

I love my Garmin but indoors I get lots of interference. Does this have any issues with interference? And is the side spin detection better?

I've been a LONG time user of Arccos. Honestly, it feels like they are going backwards. Having a lot more missed shots, wrong club detected (no I didn't hit my driver on the 110 yd par 3), and just complete failure. Using Gen 2 sensors with Gen 2 Link. Middle of the round Monday night...the whole system just quit. Lost the whole round. Not the first time this has happened. Don't really want to buy an Apple Watch or a Link Pro just to have more of the same. Arccos does not offer much of a discount to current users on their latest tech. Hate to lose years worth of data, but it's starting to not be worth the hassle. Stats are a little bogus too. Shows me losing 2.3 shots gained compared to a 5 hdcp, but all of my scoring numbers are better than a 5 hdcp. Use to be a great little system. Maybe with all of the latest sensors and link and a subscription it gets back there...but for me it might be time to consider something else.

I agree, I took it out yesterday with my instructor for a net session and then range session it does so much, for such a quick setup!

It doesn't do club path like the r10 so can't see if your coming over the top or in to out ?

Love the reviews but in this case it would've been helpful to see the results outside without the special tracking balls. Using it at a range or on the course for me personally, so indoor results with improvement tracking balls is eh, but good to know. If you ever use it outdoors I'd be interested to see that update/review.

Great, well produced video as always. Liked the accuracy testing, but you are leaving like 30 yards of carry on the table with your driver!? Based on your club speed and spin numbers, you are probably hitting down and/or coming over-the-top.

At 14:30 you say that other resorts you have to drive to your round away from the main clubhouse. At Pinehurst, they have shuttles that take you to each course and restaurant they own and operate, and your clubs will already be at the course if you do not take them yourself. Will be experiencing whistling straits soon so I can report back later, but just wanted to add clarification to a claim you made. Great video and hope to experience bandon soon!

Can I add that I’ve had to use Garmin customer support 3 different times for 3 different devices and each time they were fantastic! They really back up their devices, so there is piece of mind when you get a garmin product

Good overview. Would be nice to see the "refined" aspects of the arccos vs shot scope. You have hundreds of rounds using these devices so would assume you have some video footage to help illustrate what you are talking about. These are the two I would choose between, but not having an iwatch or any apple products, I would be leaning towards shot scope I guess. Garmin not having good UI is just odd. They have been doing GPS for as long as just about anyone in the industry. You would think they might have stumbled upon the best UI by now.

Quick question for those of you that have this z30. If you are left of a green (say front to back 20 yards and left to right 10 yards). And you are directly left of the green (at 9’o clock position). You shoot the pin and it’s 15 yards away (say the pin is in the middle of green). Will the front back display +/-5 with 15 being the pin (from your position, which would be helpful) or +/-10 with 15 being the pin (left right dispersion from your vantage point) which I would argue to be less useful. I currently have the Epix Gen 2 and am considering getting the z30 and would love to know whether it would be able to understand your relative position to the green. Thanks.

Hi New to the channel im interested in the Mevo and the sky track as i,m looking at a simulator setup at the moment, If i,m correct flightscope gives you 12 e6 courses, but can you if you wanted buy the e6 subscription, and would you get the bag mapping closest to the pin etc within the two tier subscription do you get these option, or are you better off to get other programs that have these option ?? just to finish i agree with you i like the flightscope mevo , i have 19 a feet room, i like the option for left and right handed play with mates, lots to think about cheers

Just got the one wedge in this week, one round in with minimal practice- the one shot I hit from the trap popped right out and by the hole! I am a 9 handicap but only get in about nine holes a week… don’t have a lot of time to work on short game…. the few shots I did hit with this were pretty consistent and not too bad on distance control, I’m hopeful!

Great content! Thanks for making it. I have used the skytrak with E6 for years and loved it. The only issue was no club data. Now with the skytrak+ there is club data, but it is extrapolated from the spin data I believe. Curious what you think about the skytrak+ club data versus the Uneekor. For $250/year subscription on the Skytrak+ with access to a 15 E6 courses, that is pretty hard to beat. But ultimately, if the club data is way more accurate on the Uneekor, that's the most important thing.

For someone just starting out, if you could get them as the same price point , would you recommend the Rapsodo MLM or the Flightscope?

Have that exact polo you're wearing. I like their stuff, only slightly less than Peter Millar. H&B basically never has sales though whereas PM has 30-50% off eventually.

So are you saying that you not only need to buy this device but also a Garmin watch? No way Jose! I'll stick with what I have. If you can just use your phone instead of the watch then it's pretty cool. On the flip side I have a standard range finder and the free Hole 19 GPS app. I can pretty easily work out where the flag is based on readings from both.
