Just came across this video. Ranking Mevo plus ahead of the EYE mini and the BLP IS questionable to say the least to anyone who has hit on all 3. Ranking Skytrak+ ahead of them really brings question to your credibility in general. That is such a misinformed take. For anyone interested in real life, Eye mini/mini lite is #1, BLP #2. Then a large gap before you get to rest on this list. For a starter unit, grab the Garmin R10 or MLM2pro over the Skytrak + then upgrade to the mini or BLP when you can. If you have 5k to spend, run from the Full Swing kit and run toward the Garmin R50. Or get the mini lite and use the extra money on a nice pc.

Also could you cover the practice area. I have a R10 and the lack of short game is practice would be. Big reason I’d be upgrading.

When playing in the yard with a net, it doesn’t recognize the chip shots especially when playing the courses/game (specifically less than 30 yards); sometimes I had to hit same shot 6 times for it to register the shot. Second, difference in height with tee shots and shots off the turf seems to be a challenge. I had to adjust the height of the MLM2 to deal with it. It also keeps losing the ball and I had to go alignment check every few shots. Yes, I did update the SW to latest. Is this a lighting issue (it’s not bright like inside a room) or iPhone issue (didn’t use an iPad) ??

Hey any chance you can get the New SC4 Pro? It does spin!!

I was hoping at that price, they would have dynamic loft and strike location. I guess you can use strike tape or spray for strike location, but not having dynamic loft is a meh.

what did you think of the BLACK OPS irons ?
@markeister8518Күн бұрын
@golfaddict65 I have played several rounds with both. 68 yrs old, 86mph driver speed, and a truly bad back issues. Graphite shafts were a must. Both share forgiveness and distance. XP irons are longer and have a better feel on more delicate shots. I was surprised that BO’s felt as good as they did. If you can handle the $$ the XP with steel fiber shafts are amazing. They have deals all the time and the other club from PXG to try is the Sugar Daddy lll wedges!!! Hope this helps.

4 degrees stronger and I'd guess more upright lie angle also.
@robertlong50722 күн бұрын
Not to mention PXG irons are generally a half inch longer. So basically an 8 is his old 7. But if it makes you feel better and or play better go for it. And this comes from a person that play 0311p irons.
@wayneharris46412 күн бұрын
Good review. I suspect the distant change is down to loft. The PXG is effectively a 7 iron in your old clubs. But the forgiveness is clear with the PXG.

Watching cause I bought a demo set of PING G710 irons yesterday that have these built in Accos sensors built into the grip. The stickers are still on the top so I’m assuming they’ve never been activated. I’m assuming if I only use the watch for recording shots and never look at the watch, it won’t kill the battery???? I use one of SkyGolf’s incredible GPS’s that are ground mapped so…no need for watch or phone app info. As a side note, I use TruGolf E6 software with SkyTrak to play courses. When I’m done, the E6 portal has every shot overlaid on the course for a visual plus every parameter you could think of on every shot…guaranteed.

I followed the link, and just bought it for $259. (Came with free shipping.) Fingers crossed it isn’t a refurbished version or something in the fine print. So far, seems amazing. Otherwise, I do think Sean might be slightly mistaken on the overall differences between the SL2 and SL3. The SL2 has a range to 1,100 yards while the SL3 is only 1,000 yards. In the comparison of accuracy on VC’s website, it says the SL2 measuring 150 meters is only 77% accurate, while the SL3 is 92%. In other words, the SL3 has a newer, better, more accurate laser. Also the screen on the SL3 is OLED (while the SL2 is “color touch LED”). Overall I still believe this is an amazing value, but I think there are more significant differences than just cosmetic and the green reading.

I really enjoyed your take on Reynolds. I live about 90 miles south of the courses, but I have only had the pleasure to play the Creek Club (which is quirky, but a lot of fun). I have had a few invites to play Great Waters, but was unavilable at the time of play. I really want to get up there and play the other courses.

Do you know whether the R50 will be geolocked? If I buy it in the U.S. (or from a U.S. based company), will it work in Europe? Or would I have to pay extra to get it unlocked for use in Europe.

Does it connect to the Garmin club sensors (CT10s) so that it will automatically switch clubs? I hate that the R10 doesn't do that. It's really annoying to have to manually change the clubs on the monitor when you switch clubs
