Will be in next video, for shure. One of oure goals is to show to the people inperfections or mistakes during proces. Nothing to be ashamed about it, no one is perfect.
@borispotocnik94932 ай бұрын
Yes. Gambling is to remove frame bars to fit doors without sills, car is so bad that could colapse. Now we can play with doors and other haeadaches about it..
@bobfrankish88832 ай бұрын
Car is coming along nicely. I understand you wanting to get some rigidity back by fitting the sills, but in my experience, you've taken a bit of a gamble fitting aftermarket sills without hanging the doors first. Having said that, they look pretty decent quality so you may be OK.

Thanks man, nice to hear that about onions. We do. Everything else will set on place, sooner or later. It is never to late to f**k up something. ;)

I am following this project with great interest. My first BMW was a 320i, 3 years old in 1990, I'm 71 now and I run an E46 325Ci M Sport as a daily drive, I have a 1989 E34 535I that I bought after the E30 in 1995, that is an ongoing project. My main project is a 1998 840Ci which I have been working on about 7 years. I can't believe you have so few subscribers and commenters, you guys look like you know your onions!

@@bozidarstrk Ah great, thanks! My oldest brother used to restore old cars, actually this song always reminds me of his old 1960s Vauxhall Cresta. He used to play it a lot too!

AT the moment it's hard to tell how good the metalwork you have done is, it looks rough BUT I will be interested to see it prior to primer filler.
@borispotocnik94933 ай бұрын
Left door has to be sorted and few bits on body. We start to record videos almost after all welding is done, this is good sugestion to make some about rest of metal work. Boot lid is not done, we will try to record how we make inner frame, realy slow and demanding proces, - combination of svager, shrinker/strecher, Ewheel, etc. Than we can talk about primer :)) This was saturday job last 2 years, sort of deal with car owner. Workshop is full of much bigger and way demanding cars that we are on full time job.. but it looks like folks just like Anglia more, cause many of them have that budget car in mens shed, working on it here and there. Stay with us, we will try the best. Thanks on comment.

@@borispotocnik9493 Not an expert by any means, but the boot lid looked/seemed a little flimsy to me?
@marciabaldwin25062 ай бұрын
It's Looking good so far, guys once you have the frame welded to the boot lid will be much stiffer, now subscribed love my old ford's if anyone thinks this has lots of filler on it check out patches on Yorkshire car restoration Steve and Ryan will work wonders with it. No kidding, it's about 15mm thick. Ryan has been stripping it off ❤

Expressed Steel Panels in the UK can supply a number of panels for the Anglia 105E ,the problem is the cost now that there is a customs charge on parts coming in from the UK to Ireland 😢

Body Filler on Bare Metal a No No....???
@bozidarstrk3 ай бұрын
Yes and no...if cleaned(no rust indication) sanded and de greased yes...otherwise no...filler is hygroscopic so likes to soak in,as long is indoors all good...welds are more problematic if left in bear metal without any protection on them they tend to rust in micro crack and holes and covered with filler create problem later on...usually have on hand zinc primer or something to cover your work keeping in mind cleaned,sanded,degreased
