Treat people as a means to an end. That's how to become a "top earner." We need ethics. Today. Not when we've become the monster. It's patronizing beyond belief, unless you've given away all you've acquired, to tell others to follow a different path than you've obviously been on. Waiting until you suddenly want to come clean midlife is predictable capitalism. Give away your rich man's ill-gotten gains, and come at me again once you've learned how to do it. Otherwise, you're giving me hot air. There are far too many aid agencies that would argue you'd do a lot better with that approach, rather than tilting at windmills by trying to get other rich men to do the right thing. That's just the way way to do nothing and look good doing it. This country was founded by slavers for slavers. Ask the wage slaves.

I am 26 year old and have been dating someone for 3 years. We were in healthy relationship i suppose no red flags, no lack of love and intimacy and there was mutual trust and understanding. He went to college to pursue MBA and i was preparing for competitive exam nd out of sudden one day he said that he feels no emotions for me, he doesnt miss me anymore and while i broke down mentally and emotionally he just ghosted me. My mind and heart couldn’t believe he is the same person who was so in love with me and one day how he was so easily out of love. Everyone says he was cheating on me and someone else replaced me. How is it so easy to fall out of love with someone so sudden and what is left for person who is left behind

I’m not surprised that Trump kept a copy of Mein Kampf by his bedside. Sounds like he applied the same principles of propaganda to the American people as Hitler did to the Germans.

This is some of the most ridiculous magic money nonsense I've ever heard. It's right up there with Ben Bernanke saying it would be ok to drop money from helicopters to stimulate the economy. "Unlike the rest of us, Congress never has to check the balance in its bank account to figure out whether it can afford to spend more." No. Wrong. Just because they CAN create money on a computer, does not mean that there is no limit and no consequence when they DO create money. That's stupid. Money has value because it represents productivity or an asset or a good that can be purchased with that money. ALL economic activity is essentially a barter system with money inserted as a placeholder for fungible exchange. Here's an example. I'm an Uber driver and i went to get my haircut recently. In a barter system, I would have to say, "I'll drive you home, if you will cut my hair." But that system is no good because then we have to decide how many haircuts is equal to how many rides home and it would have you factor in so many variables like how much he pays in rent and utilities and equipment and how much I pay for gas, and insurance, and maintenance and parts, etc... also, he has hundreds of customers who come in for haircuts so that would have to repeat for all of them and then there's the competition of who will give the most rides for the fewest haircuts and who will give him food for a haircut or do his taxes or bandage his daughter's knee when she falls, etc... All that makes things very complicated. So we use money. One haircut from this guy costs this much in US dollars. One ride from me costs this much per mile. But why do we both accept payment in USD? Because we have confidence that the USD exists in a regulated and limited supply that keeps up with the increase in population and productivity. In other words, we are not concerned that suddenly there will be 10 times as many US dollars available to spend on the same fixed amount of goods, services, and assets. But what happens when Congress just "creates" as much money as it wants? That balance between dollars and "things to buy" is thrown off and we get inflation. And when it is done in excessive amounts like it does in third world countries, then it leads to runaway inflation and people need suitcases to carry enough cash to buy simple groceries. So, yes, it does make a difference how much money we create even in modern monetary theory. And if you think that is wrong, look at what happens when foreign countries stop using the US dollar as the world's reserve currency. Look at what happens when one country makes a bad monetary change and how that currency gets devalued as compared to other currencies. It all matters. There is no magic. And the government cannot just spend as much as it wants without it having a huge negative effect on the people who use that currency.

Omg that’s why it is so hard for society to understand and accept Trans ppl. „ your body looks like a man, so you must be a man.“ but they can’t see how their Brain looks and how they develop in the womb so they don’t understand there could be other telling signs that they are in fact a woman looking like a man to them

Why attack Social Security but not the military industrial complex? Older people are doing well, in part because of the social safety net created by Social Security and Medicare. It is reasonable to create a means test but it is also important to maintain that safety net. Cutting the defense budget by just10% would give the U.S.A. enough money to achieve all of the stated goals in this talk while dropping the USA to.......first in worldwide military spending

Government isn't legally supposed to purchase en mass their own real estate because it causes a collapse. So thats why that law was set in place. Now the government is buying real estate through investment firms and just letting them sit empty. So are private owners. There is enough affordable housing for everyone but if you artificially raise housing by doing what I've mentioned above you get the problem we have now. Artificially induced scarcity.

When you apply this to religion, everyone's brain stops. That is why propaganda is so successful, it is rude to ask people for evidence of their silly magical beliefs, so nobody asks for evidence of anything and they'll believe "what they want, because it's true for me". The vast majority of Americans believe in angels....and this is a huge, huge problem that nobody wants to face.

Yes! like in many high-income and upstream economy, the U.S. is facing a democratic crisis mainly because of the income polarization associated with the recent structural, trade and technological changes. The move towards Radicalism and Extremism associated with the growthing importance of fair-left and fair-right populisms is weakening the U.S. democracy.
