Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd,Rolling Stones,Queen,The Who,AC/DC,Aerosmith,Kiss,Deep Purple,Status Quo, The Boomtown-Rats, Sweet, Kiss, The Knack, Aan Parson, Dire Straits, Eagles, Supertramp und so weiter, Leute das war Musik vom Allerfeinsten.

I had no idea that any permutation of the Burritos was ever on Kirshner. Not that I considered any of the Bogus Burritos to be the real thing, but at least this version had Chris and Pete, as well as Gene and Gib, so not as bad as some later ones.

To hear this beautiful "LOLA" thru this awesome video, it just bring me back wonderful memories from where I used to live in Hollywood, then I was 18 and now I am 72. Believe me some emotional tears drop down on top of my cell. No King in the 🌎 could make it better than the KINKS playing our LOLA. Greetings from Peru, the place where I was born. ☮️🎸 And... another "happy tear" just dropped down on top of my cell, while I still listen to LOLA. -10 U 4 EVER KINKS!-. ✌️

Beside the fact that Clarence had an fantastic technique: Clarence was blessed with an outstanding ability of time management. It looks like that he could "strech" time. That is a very special kind of sense of time. Sure, we musicans call this phrasing but what Clarence did is far out of just hard learning to keep time (even when playing) - he is (and never was forced) to "count". It is an absolutely intuitive thing and just part of his mind. If we listen carefully we can hear also the perfection of each tone even in very fast licks. His playing with time is (at least for me) is THAT thing what makes his playing so beautiful and creative. Not very much musicans are able to put so much alternations in his performances - especially in that kind of music which consists or more "simple" tunes (Note: from a music-harmonic perspective). Clarence is one the most Important musicans to me personally and my own playing. I spent years of studying just these handfull of Tunes to understand what even himself could not articulate - He just did it :)

Great video, I enjoyed watching it. Nonetheless, let me make one thing clear: Without Gram Parsons there were no real Burrito Brothers. The album with Rick Roberts was very mediocre. And the outfit with Sneeky Pete and Chris Ethridge who played the Kirshner gig was even farther away from the real Burrito Brothers. Sneeky Pete saved this group, his steel guitar playing is really excellent. I even saw a gig with only Sneeky Pete left, the combo was called «Burrito Deluxe» but unfortunately Pete was only a shadow of his former self.
