Wow, I was completely unaware that there was negativity towards LFS (I guess I'm old too). I think it does speak to the sad fact that negativity gets clicks. It also speaks to the fact that TVC just doesn't get a big enough budget and almost all of us, whichever media we might prefer, would like more figures than hasbro gives us. The feeling of scarcity definitely doesn't bring out the best in people. I, for one, look forward to and enjoy these fan polls even though I didn't see that many of my most wanted on many other lists.

Hello Vic. I get your point about LFS and especially insulting people with good intentions is not good. But those guys have a following and everybody knows their preferences leaning more towards OT. So sometimes people with other interest feel underrepresented. Me too at one point left the TVC FB group because I was ranting about the Mail sith speeder making into TBS mad not TVC and I was told by the admin (LFS guy) to get a 6$ one from eBay. But when is about having a neewly tooled Luke that we had 100 times it’s fine to ask for it.

I cannot believe folks are being toxic towards the LFS folks and the process as a whole. Thanks for speaking up on that, you’re a leader & a consistent voice of reason. It saddens me folks have to do that crap.

Oye, so I had made a super long comment about what Batman means to me and how special the Burton movies and Forever are to me. And a few special memories....It got deleted before I could post though, DOH, lol Well, you can probably surmise my thoughts and opinions and know and fully understand my feelings, and I just love that like knowing you and all these other people were affected the same way, it's truly something special, actually no words for it 💛💛🖤🖤 I mentioned too that I need to learn to be okay with not getting everything lol, like, okay I now have a Returns 1.0 - I may not be able to get the new version and well besides the glider wings I am good with the original. If I had the money, I'm still not sure I would pull the trigger, like my money would be better suited getting the Sonar Suit or the 89 2.0, and not get another Returns suit. But it's a long way off still, I did pre order the 5 points mezco set asap though, that really got me like oh man I need these lol. I have the Fleischer Superman set, I like it a lot, I just wish the scale was at least TVC scale/ marvel universe - They are more petite in scale but sculpt and paint are there and the whole presentation with the packaging just looks awesome. So I am curious on the scale of the Batmobile, I may end up getting doubles of the figs to open but just one set on order for now.

Everybody is so excited about the new Catwoman by Jazzinc but it's a prototype and that can all change when this figure gets made on the assembly line as the painters that work in these factories have to try and replicate the paint apps from the prototype to try and get it close to the original artists work. The protoype is done by a good artist, we have yet to see the final product. There are only two companies that can get close to a prototype and that's Inart and Hot Toys, Jazzinc as a company has yet to prove they can do the same

This was so FUN! Great show. I am so in for the Mezco 5-Point 89 Batman collection. That Batmobile actually has 2 seats they can actually sit in and the cocoon! So great. ToyBiz call back is a perfect choice. So glad I got the Spinmaster 89 Batwing. I am building a batcave diorama. I am also glad these come at tax time so my wallet will be ok

McFarlane finally did a classic 6in Lynda Carter style Wonder Woman. And the 66 Batgirl cycle. Collectors do by females and female related merchandise. Just need to put it out there. Example: I picked up the Haunted Mansion Madame Leota Tombstone and the Reaction Bride figure. Keep up the great work

Thats one upstanding Collector to help you out like that, unlike the scum greed-bag who not only bought the Speeder just to resell it, but then had the nerve to cancel the sale after you bought and paid for it. If it was me, I would have opened and ebay case against him. I saw the Allo announcement in the morning and the preorder page was active and available, but decided against the pre-order. After seeing it, theres even MORE of a case for an entire HC Rex-redo! We need a clever hastag to get that going!

i want them to make a stranger/bad guy in a mask figure from the Acolyte tv show for the vintage collection and retro collection , victoria , you said they have plans in advance , but in some tv show about the history of toys on the history channel, they showed kenner employees throwing a bunch of Revenge of the Jedi action figures on card into trash cans , an event that happened in 1982, when George was thinking about changing the title to the movie, that re- enactment scene i think was filmed at Hasbro, so they specifically made some Revenge of the Jedi action figure cards and put maybe new prints of the 96 onto them and had actors in red suits and hard hats from jurassic park throw them into trash cans, i wonder what they did with those props, do you think they had them destroyed or could some of the employees kept them or maybe one of the people from that tv show snagged one?

are they not making the bad guy in the mask as a figure for the vintage or retro collection ? they didn't have him or the wookie jedi in the retro collection, so that is why i didn't order it, i didn't want a figure of the black lesbian mom, i have nothing against lesbians or black women, but i didn't like that story part, and leslie said she only wanted to tell the darth plaguies story but that disney made her put in a part about lesbian witches, maybe to stir up interest for the agatha tv show

Is anyone familiar with neca nor being a good or reliable..or trustworthy company?...i ordered the bride of chucky tiffany doll a while back and..they have very little information in the email they send..they've moved the shipping date out and im honestly tired of the shady weird way they're rolling these dolls out.. i paid in full ...im just a random collector...i have no idea how to actually get ahold of someone who works for neca to try n get some answers and im seeing now that they're changing the shipping date to September..no date just the month..so it's almost like they don't even know what's going on ... im shocked at how unprofessional neca has been.

I think it’s important to note the drama with amandla didn’t just come from her character. She attacked fans for criticizing the show then topped it all off with that music video further insulting fans of the franchise. The show sucked bc of bad storytelling and badly developed characters. They broke against some already canon lore to fit the nonsense events that played out. That’s just what comes when passionate activists get put in charge of franchises they aren’t passionate about. Headland was more focused to checking diversity boxes than she was good writing. She said it during interviews she wasn’t interested in George Lucas vision of Star Wars, she wanted to make her own. The issue wasn’t the gayness in the show. The issue is a director with no respect for the Star Wars fans loved and involving her own political agenda breaking lore with it and writing bad plots. The people who feel this way aren’t a loud minority, they’re the majority who’ve had enough of woke garbage staying silent afraid to be labeled as all the igots and isms in the book. Money and numbers talk. I have no issue with diversity of any kind, Star Wars has always been diverse. Andor was the best Star Wars show and was very diverse. The difference was there wasn’t an emphasis on the diversity. It came organically through great storytelling. The acolyte was the opposite and majority of Star Wars fans don’t want that. We want adventure, entertainment and great stories. Not therapy sessions or any side of politics in our products.

I had a lot of issues with The Acolyte. It has nothing to do with the director’s background. We got a show that completely broke established lore by implying that some random coven of witches invented the ability to create life from the Force rather than Darth Plagueis, whom Palpatine implied to be its architect. On top of that the story was confusing at parts and the pacing was bad.

You can already scratch off three from this list. The Tonnikas and Wuher are coming with the new Cantina and Hammerhead is pipelined so he’ll be coming out next year.

I think it would’ve made more sense to have the Buck T.rex as tier for a campaign for the Mobile Lab trailer from the Lost World.

The starspeeder isn't something I'm interested in (it has no significance for me and also think it was already overpriced) but i don't think exclusives should really exist. It should have definitely been an open order with a time window like some of the Hasbro TVC items have been recently. Disney are just putting money into the sleemo hands of scalpers when they could just make more of these and bank the money themselves.

I'm really looking forward to Skeleton Crew but i think the only way it'll bring kids to Star Wars is if we oldies make them watch it with us. The nostalgic Amblin vibes are there for the kids of 80s. I don't think that will mean much to the kids of the 2010s.
