re SN1 or SN2, according to manuals with my units(smaller print at end of manual), SN1 is the default, and is used for either having only 1 magnet on fan wheel or having 2 magnets of the same polarity facing sensor(all 4 of mine have 2 magnets and use the SN1 default setting), SN2 is also for 2 magnets, but with different polarities(ie 1 is north pole facing sensor and second magnet is south pole facing sensor). To fit a local (heatport voice multi controller) stop/restart temperature controller to one of mine(speaks what its doing when buttons pressed or for faults etc), i had a clearance issue with magnets hitting sensor, (new motor board supplied/needed as well) but found a mention somewhere, that they often can be pressed deeper into their holes, which fixed my problem. i run my other 2 (4th one is a spare) units at 1.5/8hz and 1500/5000rpm "AT SEA LEVEL" in my back porch(22ml pumps), and have never had a sooting up or smoking issue with them (4 and 5 years old now). One (claimed) 8kw one came with those settings, 2 other claimed 5kw ones came set to 5 or 5.5hz max originally, and last one bought came set to 1.4 / 7hz 1500 / 4500 rpm, so they vary a lot, but all are otherwise identical units in every way(white alloy case versions with chrome end cap). At 8hz setting, they all drink 0.5lts per hour at max output, but usually a bit less, as they throttle back via housing temp sensor unless porch is still very cold(which means no more than 4.5kw's as that's all the available energy in that amount of fuel. Lower settings will be proportionally less output than that(not checked, but guessing only around 3kw's at 5 hz.. (8hz output confirmed also by my calcs of delta t and airflow when i first got them). Just ordered another one today, will be curious what its supplied settings are (like the price drop over the years, first ones were$355nz, latest just $230nz delivered I did try one on a 28ml pump for while, but could never get it to run clean throughout output range, so gave up on it.

I have the black board on my 2019 diesel heater. The newer blue boards work completely different to the older boards. There's no altitude adjustment plus you cant disable the pass code also the startup fan and pump control runs different and there's no startup retry ect. The blue board is a cheaper version of the old black one plus you cant use veg oil or waste motor oil with the blue board.

Hi, I didn't know about the blue board. I know that black ones are sometimes different and are not compatible with the controller that's why its better to replace them both at the same time and try to get a generic one. .

What’s the mooring’s fees like on a boat your size mate can you pay monthly or is it a annual thing I’m looking for a mooring for my Norman 21
@simplyboating4609

Hi. you can pay monthly, quietly or annually. I think 21ft is about £120 pm but that includes as many lifts as you like and you will be dry stored. Just give them 30 mins notice and they drop it in the water for you. As your not in the water all the time its very safe as well. Its a very good compound to with cameras all over and a big steel fence around. Its cheaper in Beccles Yacht station but by the time you have your boat lifted out for a service it don't make much difference.

Is there a way to program this heater to come on at a certain temperature and turn itself off at a target temperature? Or does a person have to monitor the temperature of the space and turn it on and off manually? As in while you're sleeping and you are sweating and wake up and realize that the temperature is very hot in your sleeping space? Or if the temperature falls below freezing and you are freezing as well and realize that in order to not freeze to death, you must turn on the heater?

Fuel filter's back to-front, it's supposed to fill the chamber then make its way through the gauze. Pump should be under the unit so it's pressurizing just fluid and no air .. .. .
@simplyboating4609
@simplyboating4609 6 ай бұрын
These 50p fuel filters that come with it don't have a flow direction on them so you can put it whatever way you like, If you buy a good fuel filter it will have a flow direction on it and a water separator but costs about £35 As for the fuel pump you would struggle to get the pump under the heater especially if you were fitting it in a van as all the pipework goes out underneath. You would also struggle on the initial start up to get the air to go downhill to the pump as air likes to go upward. Thanks for watching this video so closely and pointing these things out as it's always good to know why it is like this. Please feel free to point anything else out in the future.

@@simplyboating4609 If you run your fuel line down from the tank to the base of the wooden stand then the pump fixed to the wooden stand with a short run straight up and into the unit that'd be your best routing. The filter's designed to show contaminants in the chamber - so it fills the large chamber first then that volume is screened before exiting and if neglected, the chamber can retain a lot of debris before strangulation begins.. ... I _only_ use water separator/filter units but my machines are all the expensive German variety!
