I'm sorry, but I am having a hard time watching your videos since the addition of a new lady friend. Not my business, but you made your wife a part of your channel. Clearly, something has happened, but a simply explanation (without too many details) could have made it less uncomfortable. You just plopped "Miss Martha" into videos without an explanation. Some of us would like to understand. We would support you. Again, you made your wife a part of your channel. If that is over, just say it.

Stumbled upon the video and enjoyed it. The cows will be my cousins who own the farm/caravan park you drove through to get to the reserve. The seal colony is quite a new thing, you'd see the odd one fifty years plus ago when I was first taken down there for family stuff. What you don't get down there any more are the tens of thousands of gulls making a hat and jacket essential and you still get dive bombed and covered in sh*t Fun Fact, Peggy was very good friends with my nana lol The gutters on the salt marsh can be quite tricky to walk around. Do NOT walk out to Piel Island (the castle) unless you know the route. Your walking out into Morcambe Bay with all its quick sand, fast tides and encircling gullies, not a place to just go for a stroll👍

I really liked the IR but I actually thought the final night time long exposure was the pick of the bunch. There was obviously a load of effort at just getting the exposure right.

the IR is a good fun way to change your look on things
@iainmc98592 күн бұрын
@@paulcomptonpdphotography Yeah, I'm not for or against, I'm quite 'agnostic' on it, although you know my liking for b&w in general. John McKenna used IR for street photography during the Edinburgh Festival last year with some good results. Man made materials in clothing really zings in strong sunlight.

You need 2 test shots at same F stop, best exposure (time) for stars, and using same shutter speed best shot of light house. Start exposure final shot, and after correct time for light house block the lighthouse out of shot till best exposure for stars. Err! unless you are very lucky and dependent on time of year on average sunrise is 180 deg. the other side of sunset. I did not notice the boat or island and its a bit far from Ireland.

You were not at Cefn Coch, you first came to Circle 275, where you missed the alignment marked by a stone. You missed reading the sign DRUID'S CIRCLE, that is the larger circle. (Maeni Hirion, the direction was carved on the stone).

@@paulcomptonpdphotography I guess you started your walk at Morfa camping site. If you do intend the visit the other ancient sites, I recommend you buy the Ordnance Survey map (these are the best detailed maps in the world) COLWYN BAY SHEET 77/87 this is to SCALE 1:25 000. (distances are marked on the map in Yards & Miles, as also in kilometres. North is always up/top of map). Take a compass, the headland can be engulfed by fog rising from sea. There's a beautiful waterfall near Capelulo. Before reaching Druid's Circle is a large standing stone, Mean Crwn, it is marked on the map. There are more stone circles and cairns in the vicinity of Druid's Circle, these are marked on the map. Behind Tal Y Fan mountain is another enormous standing stone, Cae Coch, and several other standing stones, follow the Roman road to the east, there is another stone circle, (the stones are small and may be obscured by grass) you will soon see a well preserved dolmen, Maen Y Bardd, a standing stone is nearby, in the vicinity is across the stone wall a slender, tall standing stone. Every track, every foot path, every road is marked on the topographic map, the roads to Conwy are clearly marked. Don't know why you are afraid, the Penmaenmawr headlands are wonderful and exhilarating to explore. Good luck.

I was at Druids circle the thumbnail for this video is Druids? or am i missing something... i am not sure where the waterfall is though
@Autorange888Күн бұрын
@@paulcomptonpdphotography The large stone circle is Druids Circle. All other monuments are also grouped around Tal Y Fan mountain. The Fairy Glen waterfall is near Capelulo. You find sites by using a topographic map.
