FYI my mama taught me how to thrift shop. Growing up we were poor, so we turned old furniture into something beautiful. Everything in my home I’ve done myself. Also my dad did make custom log furniture for the resorts here. So my furniture pieces have very special meaning to me. Having hyperactive disorder, is also a way for me to be creative and calm my thoughts. My brain is crazy too!! Lol I also love art, especially anything Mandela because my dad was an art teacher. Hey, a tip from someone who grew up with a woodworker dad, try to strip it before sanding it! You can use something non-toxic like citrus strip that will removed the old finish and stain so that when you stain it it’ll look a little more even! It’s beautiful tho! Great job ❤
