Glad to see discussion around a constitutionally protected conduct is only informed by Fudd lore and Hollywood fiction. If suppressors remain illegal I hope 2a lawsuits cost the Missouri taxpayers greatly.

There was once a battle long ago in a place called Thermopylae. For 2 days a brave Greek army of 300 held off a Persian army of one million men. The Greeks made the Persians pay so dearly, that they lost all taste for combat and were defeated soon after.

I don't condone this violence at all but the story a lot of people don't know and they don't tell the blacks were bussed and trained up here by the tens of thousands as strike breakers taking peoples jobs. Take a mans job away to feed his family they will get dangerous.

My mother worked there. She was inside when it all went down. She lied about her age to get the job. She was only 15 at the time. She told us the story and how scary it was.

Making the suppressors more easily available than they are now will make them more common on the street and that will have a negative impact on society.

I voted for President elect Trump but that being said it would be a no on naming a highway in Missouri after him . President Truman who was from Missouri yes but a hard no on any politician regardless of party that’s not from Missouri.

I worked for “Dominic” before he opened up- he taught me how to make Fettuccine Alfredo - swell guy- always fed us and paid well. He enlarged the building probably over twice the size. I believe it was Andrinos Restaurant before he bought it.

I get that murderers are inherently breaking the law, but being this blasé and laughing about an issue that has ruined so many lives is downright negligible. Mentioning how great things were in the past has zero value in today’s unique circumstance. Saying that this is a non issue and doing nothing about gun violence is embarrassing.

Do these people have any knowledge of the MO State represtantives, policies, initiatives regarding education? Do they realize that only districts with lower income populations are the ones being closely received in regards to management of finance? Do they have any clue about the history and dynamics that Missouri and St. Louis is known for, in terms of socio-ecomonic and racial segregation. While there is no excuse for mismanaged spending by any academic institution, the fact that MO media and officials focus on districts like STL City or Ferguson, while fully supporting legal sports betting, school choice/vouchers, zero expansion of public transit, book bans, restricted protection of fundamental human rights like bodily autonomy or women's reproductive rights....YET EVEN PBS media focuses on credit card spending by schools. Clearly, no one sitting at this table has any experience in education or state politics in Missouri or anywhere else. Shame on you PBS! You are supposed to be a beacon of ubaised information in journalism and discussion rooted in research and factual information.

Definitely worth a visit, imho. Very impressive that the company carried their workers through times they they weren't making a profit. They must have had quite some reserves built up. Even so, it's hard to imagine any company doing that these days, given the outsize concern for shareholder returns.

Sad, very sad, the neighborhoods today. I'm 74 and as a child spent many times in north St.Louis, all my mom's relatives lived there. Homes were modest, times were great, walk anywhere. Summer nights we sat on front porch and the cart merchant would walk by selling hot food. Wonderful times, i guess gone but not forgotten!

It saddens me to hear about the bad history and the things white people did to the people. I too was raised in east boogie as we called it then and now. I no longer reside there but it'll always be my home, I'm proud to be from there, I have no shame, nor any regrets that I can't tell someone where I'm from, if asked. I heard rumors some of my peers were ashamed of our city, to bad. But I can tell you it was no one in the class '77, Lincoln, assumption, or east side. Perhaps you heard of me at some point. Amos Young!
