It has nothing to do with sambora whatsoever. It's just a strat with a cheap locking tremolo. No sculpted neck joint or horn, no 25dB boost, no star inlays.... But his signature on the headstock made it a signature model? Fender should be ashamed of themselves.

The only thing i changed on my kramer js was the knife edge posts to black and the tuners are guyker branded gold locking tuners and replaced the locking nut with a original floyd rose locking nut.

I almost bought the first Japan Sambora Strat you displayed!! It would have been my first overseas purchase and didn’t know about the tax and tariffs so I backed out. I even had it in my cart!! Chris Perez, Selena’s husband and guitar player, famously also played an RS in white and I made a comment on his IG that I almost dropped 3K on a Japanese model and that I’d wait for a USA. He commented, good choice!! lol😂 There’s currently a Palermo RS on eBay for 2800 but I don’t know anything about Palermo guitars other than they’re from Canada. Any suggestions?

I was at this Canada Day concert, they were actually on tour for their live album “Right Here, Right Now”. It was a great show which included Vince Neil, Alana Miles, Kim Mitchell and included Bobcat Goldthwait who was MC’ing the show. It was very hot, I passed out in line waiting to get in (quickly recovered, be careful what you smoke in the hot sun!) and sunburns were had by all. Fantastic Show. Van Halen hit the stage just as the sun went down and we all went crazy. They were at the top of their game in ‘93 and they were fantastic. They had a big screen behind them and I remember when they played “Mine all Mine” they had a video of a surfer riding the waves behind them. I’ll remember this show until the day I die. RIP EVH.

That sounds amazing! I was living in Buffalo at the time but I was only 14 at the time and my parents wouldn’t let me go!
@brivington2011Ай бұрын
@@ThomTranOnline Apparently the crowd was 50,000 and the largest ever at Molson Park. Not really a place to send a 14 year old so your parents choose wisely. I was too young to see Van Halen with Roth but my first Van Halen show was in 91, and I saw them again in ‘93 and then in ‘95 for the Balance tour. Never saw them again but happy to see them in their prime 3 times. The ‘93 show they were firing on all cylinders and at the top of their popularity. All good things come to an end, but man we’re these some good times. Eddie Trunk says Van Halen was the American version of Led Zeppelin and I have to agree. The legacy Eddie and the band left grows every day as new generations discover Van Halen for the first time. Did you ever end up catching a Van Halen show as you got older?

Truth about Eddie and Ernie Ball contract.... Most people don't know why Eddie lost the Ernie Ball contract.... Ernie Ball himself walked into his office and as he opened the door....there was Eddie banging Ernie's wife. End of contract, hello Peavey.

Pretty sure the Axis has different pups - possibly Tone Zones vs the Ed custom wind? I tried EVH sig and Axis back in the day and was gutted that I actually preferred the sound of the Axis (and the switch position) - never realised that the neck is slightly different, they felt identical at the time.
