I was at this Canada Day concert, they were actually on tour for their live album “Right Here, Right Now”. It was a great show which included Vince Neil, Alana Miles, Kim Mitchell and included Bobcat Goldthwait who was MC’ing the show. It was very hot, I passed out in line waiting to get in (quickly recovered, be careful what you smoke in the hot sun!) and sunburns were had by all. Fantastic Show. Van Halen hit the stage just as the sun went down and we all went crazy. They were at the top of their game in ‘93 and they were fantastic. They had a big screen behind them and I remember when they played “Mine all Mine” they had a video of a surfer riding the waves behind them. I’ll remember this show until the day I die. RIP EVH.

That sounds amazing! I was living in Buffalo at the time but I was only 14 at the time and my parents wouldn’t let me go!

@@ThomTranOnline Apparently the crowd was 50,000 and the largest ever at Molson Park. Not really a place to send a 14 year old so your parents choose wisely. I was too young to see Van Halen with Roth but my first Van Halen show was in 91, and I saw them again in ‘93 and then in ‘95 for the Balance tour. Never saw them again but happy to see them in their prime 3 times. The ‘93 show they were firing on all cylinders and at the top of their popularity. All good things come to an end, but man we’re these some good times. Eddie Trunk says Van Halen was the American version of Led Zeppelin and I have to agree. The legacy Eddie and the band left grows every day as new generations discover Van Halen for the first time. Did you ever end up catching a Van Halen show as you got older?

Finding this was gold! I was also at this show. Ed's side about 3 bus lengths back. I remember heat and people. Lots and lots of sweaty ass people. One of the most memorable shows I've seen. Long bloody day tho. 🤟

I know the guitar luthier in Toronto who painted that very guitar, I held it in my hands. I remember him, saying it was such a pretty guitar when he got it with the maple top, it was a shame to paint it.

You should definitely cover the evh art series tour guitars. As for other one off guitars of Ed’s, I’ve always been fascinated by his striped Wolfgang from the 2013 tour

Working on how to make it interesting since there are so many EVH Art series guitars!

@@ThomTranOnline That's definitely gonna be an interesting challenge. Maybe a basic overview of the project (main color combos, reverse color combos, specs, etc) + highlighting a few of the really unique, cool ones (like the "Tic Tac Toe" art series, the black & silver guitars, guitars with truck reflectors and others)? Looking forward to it!

Sweet guitar!!! Brings to mind Tamara Lich's (hero of the Canadian Freedom Convoy) supporter built 'Freedom Guitar'. Also emblazoned with the Canadian flag and custom inlays. Hand built and painted Tele body guitar. Check it out. Cool channel. Not the 'same old'. I'm sure it'll find success.

Truth about Eddie and Ernie Ball contract.... Most people don't know why Eddie lost the Ernie Ball contract.... Ernie Ball himself walked into his office and as he opened the door....there was Eddie banging Ernie's wife. End of contract, hello Peavey.
