So the only reason we've come full circle in most states is they want our tax dollars , hell they want 200'300'K for license fees just to open a shop , plus taxes . nOW THAT THE CORRUPT DRUG MANUFACTURERS ARE WELL ESTABLISHED .

The American Experience version is a lot more watchable. This is more a recitation of facts. It's hilarious the way the narrator can't just say "women are better at not starving to death" but instead has to pretend the men who got them into this mess just worked harder so that's why more men starved vs women. So Mormon.

It sounds like the Comanches refused to return the hostages so the Texans then imprisoned them. It sounds like the treachery was on the part of the Comanches

There was a massacre but on both sides but the side that lost doesn't want to acknowledge the considerable resistance that motivated the settlers.

My family started the colonial American cannabis industry in the 1600s. We are swiss, we were asked to bring looms an help establish the industry for sails an clothing an medicine and more. We established in in Pennsylvania an held ownership of almost 4/5ths on the state. We still have our town in Pennsylvania

The beginning is rather misleading. The vast majority (99.9%) of hemp was grown for rope, twine and such. During WWI the demand for rope was so vital that here in Minnesota they were even using "Cut Grass" as a substitute. Which is brutal to harvest.

Is it really necessary to have that irritating background noise behind the narration ? Im interested in the content though Im having a hard time listening to the video on account of the distractingly annoying audio. It does nothing to add to nor does it seem related to the subject matter. Thank you.
