Well done, i live close to Fort Bridger, and every summer during Labor Day weekend, they have a Rendezvous at the fort. I haven't missed a single one except during covid (they canceled it). I go for the food and the experience every year. Every year, it's free on the 4th of July, and they do fun things for the kids. Fort Laramie. Also, it does a lot of fun things, on the 4th of July.

Once there was a mountain man Who couldn't write his name. Yet he deserves a front row seat In history's hall of fame. He forgot more about the Indians Then we will ever know. He spoke the language of the souix,Blackfoot and the crow. From the song "jim Bridger" by Johnny Horton.

Understandable. I've seen Alaska twice and OR once and still feel homesick. Germany here ❤

We've been wondering why this video has seen a spike in viewership, and now we know! Thanks for stopping by, and hopefully you learned something new about the real Jim Bridger.

I’ve worked at the Jim Bridger power plant in Point of rocks many times. I love that area of America. Stayed in Rock Springs and patronized The bare back saloon which is a fine establishment.

Keep up the good content. Arikara Village and Pawnee, I guess Pawnee might be incorrect? The leed guitar back ground music is disturbing and to loud too.

Really strange to me Bridger has no Hollywood adaptation. I grew up in the Midwest where we learned about Johnny Appleseed and Paul Bunyan . I wonder if folks from the west learned about Jim bridger

Good video. It's usually pronounced "a-RIK-a-ra", although Native American names are usually applied to tribes by European-Americans, and prone to different interpretations.

It’s JeDediah Smith not JeBediah. The tribe Arikara is pronounced Aríkara with the accent on the i I think. Ephraim was a boar bear of later fame. John Colter of the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery was claimed to be the first white man to traverse the Yellowstone country, not Bridger

Great job, acoustic guitar would be better background music.

Around the fifth minute of this video, the story that you’re talking about Fitzgerald and Bridges and all this, that’s literally the same movie that Leonardo DiCaprio was in when he got attacked by a bear

That movie was crap and didn't follow the real story. Very altered to fit a narrative.

Maybe learn how to pronounce the names of indian tribes in the future? Also, Jackson Hole is in Wyoming, not Idaho as you stated.
