Question: Are you alternating between first and third person perspective for a combat purpose, or are you just showing off the weapon? I just recently adopted 3rd person to change things up and it's made the game feel a lot easier and the weapons feel faster.

Great video, I tried this game when it first came out and didn't get it at all lol. You explain the mechanics very clearly, so i'll give it another shot sometime.

I personally just started playing and instantly noticed that sometimes i do an overhand without pressing anything, since scroll wheel after all

Colossal weapon's bread and butter may be the crouch pokes but its other movesets like running heavy and lights come out quick and also the backstep light attack is also clean. However another attack which is good in colossals is the counterattack. Shield talisman along with curved sword talisman and finally with the DLC deflect tear you get a pretty hefty damage boost if you have the hp and stamina to tank shit. In pvp the counter attack works pretty well for colossal if you've got the health and stamina for it.

The way this game makes you feel when you are downed by the enemy or he hurt some of your limbs is so unique, you feel like you are fighting for your dear life and if you prevail it's elite

it's truly disappointing how many people will refuse to give this game a try, or even attempt at learning the combat mechanics. it's more simple than you think. easy to learn, hard to master. and man, it feels... sooo good when you master it.

I bought this game a couple months ago, and very soon I've noticed that's around 100h already. It might be much more, but work... I could highly recommend to try it. It's a first game for a really long time when you can feel the same way as in deep childhood when someone gave you their controller or keyboard+mouse and you even don't know how to walk in the game, how to jump, how to fight, how to move camera. Everything from the starch. It's an amazing feeling.
