I do not know if you knew this but you dont need to charge the cavalry saber into heavies while riding, it has full damage with no need to charge which is another unique aspect of it on horseback. This lets you quickly swipe through crowds while charging if you are not already bracing. I think this is a glitch but you are able to brace the saber while deserting, letting you kill people from their own spawn/in spawn/from a charge from behind

That's the special attack they were talking about before the release when you're mounted. I thought it was a different version of a special attack but being able to couch a sword for infinite amount of times for less range is just the cherry on top of a good all-rounder weapon.

Sabers arent only for cutting it literally has a tip, without that then it's for slicing.

I agree with you, the way this map is built, it's very " all roads lead to rome". It starts in a broad field and as you move through objectives it narrows down, eventually to the bridge and converge to whatever that castle like building in the end. It's setting up for a big and dramatic VIP style fight, but no, the last obj is silly and totally unfit, it's very similar to dark forest where attacker have to burn the bushes, thus you don't really get an epic battle to finish thing with a bang. Feel anticlimactic

Can somebody who plays Chivalry 2 well tell me, is the first person still drastically inferior to third person? I was playing shortly after the game's release, mostly in first person, but dropped it for whatever reason. Now i started again, and i rewatched Ziggylata's guide, but I'm still not sure if first person is worse than third person, since i was performing A LOT worse in 3rd person than in 1st person. Any thoughts about that? Would be appreciated!

first person can feel more immersive an might make 1v1 fights easier since you can see animations better, but 3rd person gives a lot more field of vision (you can even see people behind you if their close enough). I personally use 3rd person mostly, but I don't think either is all that bad, just gotta be more aware in first

The most optimal imo is to use both. Spacing is alot easier in 1st person. Everything else I use 3rd person for

What HE said is pretty much spot on. Third has a major advantage but you can play fine in first if you really want to.

Тhanks to everyone for answers, the field of view is really a lot bigger in 3rd person, unlike Mordhau which i am used to, so i guess this is already the biggest advantage before 1st person. Gotta learn to move in 3rd and not bump in everything...
