Thanks for the video. If my MU-X already has an Anderson Plug wired and installed in the boot by a previous owner. Would I still need a dc-dc charger? Or could I just plug the battery directly into the Anderson plug instead?
@ozoutdorz258415 күн бұрын
do you mean for the purpose of charging the second battery ???.. It would be good to know where the power source is for the Anderson Plug you have, but assuming it's a direct feed from your existing car battery, it won't charge the second battery as effectively as a charging device.
@trent344315 күн бұрын
it leads to the starter battery. A grey 50 amp plug. Good to know, it would be good to utilise it. Did you get you dc-dc charger from 12 Volt Direct as well?

It is nice that the new keys have a rubber rain guard; but that does not help the switch when you have to chain up the bike outside in the rain. I have to see what I can do about making a rubber switch cover that sits in place of the key.

John, it's only a thin plastic cap on a thin key. Not as as nice as the original with Stealth engraved in it.
@John.0z27 күн бұрын
@@ozoutdorz2584 I am sure it will work well enough, although I have managed to get caught in light rain a few times, and so come to quite like my rubber covered Stealth key. 😁 I going to have to start looking for that cover I mentioned...

I am feeling like It might be a good idea to pull the screws that hold my brake rotors in place, and loctite them? BTW, one advantage of the P-7/r is the very neat single quick disconnect sitting alongside the swing arm. Easy to work with. 😁 The greater power transmission demand of the B-52 would probably make that hard to implement.

I’m a bit confused, what is the purpose of upgrading the stock motor. Were you not satisfied with the original motor. Are you trying to get more speed / range / torck, seems to me that the stock motor is a beast and is more than adequate for the type of trail riding you use it for. And you’re adding additional weight. Not sure what the end game is. Thx
@ozoutdorz25842 ай бұрын
You will see in the earlier episodes that the Gen 2 bikes overheat due to the larger diameter wheel which increases the gear ratio and reduces torque and acceleration.

Just as soft sand baffles a lot of motor cyclists, soft sand will provide plenty of challenge to Stealth riders. However i can tell you riding soft sand is possible on the Stealth. It requires speed and shifting weight rearwood and nerve. I have ridden many soft sandy beaches in VIC and NSW.

Why is it not as "comfortable " as a B52?
@ozoutdorz25843 ай бұрын
the B52 has better suspension and the heavier weight of the B52 makes it resist small bumps, so therfore more plush than the P7R.. However, at a cost, you can always upgrade the P7R suspension.
