I used to tend to exotic cats. There were 2 Siberian lynxes on the property. They occasionally did stand on their hind legs for like a dozen seconds or so if something perked their interest. Upright they would be dye to eye with myself and I stand 6'0". Siberian lynxes are probably the closest relative to the Eurasian lynx. Some say that they are the same. But I think it's subtype is different. We had Canadian lynxes, bobcats, servals, and caracals as well. And the Siberian lynxes were the only small felines that exhibited this behavior. I worked at this small felines sanctuary for 2yr 7mo 3dys.
