Freddy is Freddy and of course he gets top vote. BUT George Michael sang it with more than heart and made Freddy darn proud for sure. Brian's smile says it all: George nailed it. No one else could stand next to Freddy but George in my opinion. Can you imagine them singing together? Epic!

Me encanta Freddie Mercury. Amo su voz. Su versión de Somebody to Love es simplemente genial. Inigualable. Esa canción es la mejor y la que más me gusta de todas las canciones del mundo. George Michael la interpretó MUY bien y fue el mejor de la noche en el homenaje a Freddie. Cantó con sentimiento y hermosa voz. Lo aplaudo mil veces. Fue fiel al original. lloré cuando lo escuché (vi a Freddie en su voz). Pero por mínimos mínimos puntos, prefiero a Freddie.

I read George went into the studio every day to practice he said it needed to be perfect, his partner at the time was in Brazil he preferred to get his treatment there, he'd just discovered he'd AIDs George himself wrote it was the hardest thing he ever had to do, but he was just amazing, two different artists who where totally different, both beautiful people who left us too young..both had amazing voices 💙💙

I was lucky enough to be in London in the Early Seventies. There was a type of life that all teenagers should be introduced to and live. There were the Markets, Concerts, Biba & love, love, love. Freddie Mercury should have (in my opinion) Married the love of his life Mary Austin. It was a great time to be young. Sometimes I get annoyed and feel that Freddie should have lived and given us more of his genius.

Mercury is definetely a genious, but George Michael sang this song better, cause he did it as cool as human being can. Every note in this performance is just Perfect, imho. I've listened to this song dozens of times, I remember all of them. RIP George and Freddie!

George did really good but he could never be Freddie. This was just aoutine song for Freddie. Freddie's stage presentation and vocals can only be imitated but never surpassed
