He would call because the opponent on the turn is only repping a strong king, and he doesn’t have that many strong kings that overbet the flop besides some of the top club and diamond ones, so because his value range is very narrow, because he picked a size that he can’t value bet a weak king and below, he was probably gonna call down

This guy has just made the biggest +EV decision. Guys, get away from ignition ASAP! Thank me later. No poker site that is unregulated will ever be legit. Their so called RNG is rigged. Top class play. The hand at 8:47 on the left followed GTO quite precisely all the way to the end. Both players made GTO decisions including bet sizing, despite many of the decisions not being intuitive (at least to much lower level player like me). SB x/c flop despite nut flush draw (AdKd) which is what the solver is doing mostly. He then led the turn which is again non-intuitive (to me) for a 20% size (again, non-intuitive size but the one solver prefers predominantly). Ryan raised the turn Qd9d as the solver does with that combo. River went x/x in both solverland and reality. Insane.

@markperkins1017Ай бұрын
Do you actually think he’s rangebetting the Q96chh board? It’s a pretty significant/exploitable deviation for him to simplify a 62% frequency bet to 100%. If you remove the checking line for OOP on flop, IP gets to underfold that street significantly (12.7% in the sim I ran).
@markperkins1017Ай бұрын
Additionally if flop gets rangebet by OOP, QT becomes a clear river valuebet for you.
@BarvGwydh3 күн бұрын
@@markperkins1017 in general it's good to assume someone is playing closer to range bet on a board that's 60, 70% bet. and if you nodelock this situation so that the opponent range bets, and you just play the ideal response vs range bet (despite your opponent playing the correct 62% frequency) then you really won't lose much EV in doing so.
@markperkins10173 күн бұрын
@@BarvGwydh sure, that’s true. If you go one level further though (allow OOP to cbet knowing that IP will play the continuing strategy vs a rangebet), EV losses will be very significant for IP.
@markperkins10173 күн бұрын
@@BarvGwydh not sure I agree that it’s best to assume people are rangebetting every board that gets bet more than half the time either, it’s 2024 not 2019. If you’d said 80%+ we’d be on the same page, but there’s a big difference between a board that gets bet 80% at equilibrium and one that gets bet 62%

1:15 when you say're going to check because we have too much showdown value and our hand is too good, do you imply that AK in general for you is a X here? Or is it mainly due to Ad blocking folds? Cause solver actually bets AK around 40% of the time in this spot and our hand in the 20sh region.
@PokerWithRiskeАй бұрын
Yeah I just knew my combo didn't bet turn very often, makes sense to bet some AK though as it can fold out better + get called by worse.

at 35:15 , do we realistically get called by worse to compensate for the amount of times we get snapped by better? like does he have to call A5cc or hh with those pot odds? or does he only call 56hh and cc and we get snapped by JJ, 99, 44 and lose everytime? i dont think any player in their right mind is doing that with 9x and calling off so deep
@PokerWithRiskeАй бұрын
I think we get called by worse often enough (high equity draws + 9x) & we deny lots of equity. JJ would definitely be better though because we'd dominate more value (TT).
