I just install this ones in my truck but they dint turn on, dont know if its a fuse or they are detective
@goodcleanfun31184 күн бұрын
Neither one turned on? Did the old ones work if you put them back? Do some testing, but definitely check the fuses first as that's a lot easier to do.
@J-dale-dalton7 күн бұрын
I doubt you would have any ideas on this but I bought this product and I’m having them flicker between the white and yellow. Any ideas on why this could be happening? I’m thinking bad wiring
@goodcleanfun31184 күн бұрын
Flicker might be a fuse issue. That's my best guess.

Very good review. From what I've learned,those intakes that have an oiled filter are bad. The oil can gunk up your MAF sensor. I'm going to buy a used F150 and hope I have good luck with it.

I believe it, these can get caked in oil. Makes me wonder now if I have done something terrible.

Thank you for this video. I have a 2012 escape that I need to hyper flash disabled. The dealer looks at me like a cow looking at a new gate when I go in to ask. So I need the cable and a regular laptop?

Yep, that should do it, but you'll also need a membership to the FORScan forum. I think I paid $10 for a year subscription.

I'm here due to front road noise. I bought brand new Cooper Discoverer tires. So I know how they did sound when they were first put on. No road noise at all. Now I'm starting to hear a little road noise and it sounds like it's coming from the front drivers side. Not sure if tires get louder as they wear or if I have a wheel bearing going out.
@goodcleanfun31184 күн бұрын
Get the truck up on a jack and see if there is any give. Mine had just a tiny bit of wiggle and that was enough to create a lot of noise and vibration.

My 2015 is actually making a roaring noise just driving straight and gets louder as I turn just like yours. Showed up at 136,000 miles. Not sure they were ever replaced. Just got it back from the dealer having other things fixed and I mentioned it to them, but they said that the tech couldn’t detect anything. Didn’t even give me an excuse lol. If I can detect something, they should be able to. I’d fix it myself, but I still got aftermarket warranty so it will be going back to a different dealer. Should be interesting to see what they come up with.

I'd like to get a set of those LED lights for my 2019 F150. Do you know if I'd have to get a Raptor grill OR could I put them into my chrome XLT grill? Thanks for your feedback.
@goodcleanfun31183 ай бұрын
If I am thinking of the same XLT grill, then yes, you should be able to do this. It should be pretty obvious though. For example, my Lariat grill was not compatible as it did not have any obvious slots to place them. Hope this helps!

Hey bro, mine make a weird sound on 2H and when changed to 4H the sound will go. The mechanic said it is from wheel bearing!!! I kinda disagree, your thoughts
@goodcleanfun31183 ай бұрын
I am not a mechanic, but I would disagree. A bad wheel bearing is consistently noisy no matter if you're in 2H or 4H. I'd suggest putting the truck on a lift and tugging the wheels to see if there is any give. If not, then something else is going on.

May I ask where you got the Raptor grill? Do you know if you if it supports the factory front camera? Thank you in advance and great vid BTW 👍🏼🙏🏼

Thanks! I got the grill from a seller on Amazon. I don't think the seller is even on the platform anymore. I paid around $250 for it. I am also pretty sure it would not support the front camera.

Good looking truck man. I have a 17 3.5 platinum and got it around the same time you got yours and have overall enjoyed my time with it. I've put about 35K miles on mine. Here are the issues that I've had with mine. The front IWEs gave out so I replaced them both. Wasn't too bad to do myself. Probably about 4-6 hours of labor. Started hearing a metallic rattling noise and it turns out one of the heat shields for the exhaust underneath has a metal band that secures it down from factory. Well, that thing has a tendency to rust off and cause that heat shield to rattle. Easy fix by just removing the old band and replacing with a 2.75 inch hose clamp. The last thing that I haven't addressed is the sunroof. Apparently this panoramic sunroof on this generation has problems getting stuck open. I heard a loud pop one day when I was closing it and haven't touched the sunroof since. I know it can be fixed at home but I figured why bother lol Just figured I would share my experiences.

Very helpful video. I am going through a similar issue with my 2021 Lariat. There is this humming noise ONLY happens when I turn the steering wheel to the right. And it does not change when I use 2H, 4A/4H. I thought it would be in the drive shaft. But in reality, I should ask them to check my bearing. They also told me the same thing, that AT tires are loud, or tire is rubbing the fender liner etc, which I don't think is the case.
