Very nice !! I have a super nice skoolie that I did my self. It nice to see the high quality builds. Most people will not take the time and effort to do the higher detailed work. To me it's just definitely worth it to go the extra mile. Again very nice, congrats on a AWSOME camper.GOD BLESS.😊

Thanks so much for your kind comment! And i agree, it' was definitely worth the extra time and money to get the trailer that we both wanted. Best of luck to you with your skoolie!

You could put an accordian door in the toilet entry. Sure would like to know how the bathroom was built and specifics on materials used?? Thank you.

Hello, where does the shower vent out to? You mentioned concern about cutting more holes into side/roof. Is the vent big enough for the size of the shower? What type of wood did you say is the counter and where did you get it? I’ve been collecting things I would like in my build and based on the prices I’ve seen for converted vans/vintage trailers, renovated pop up trailers it seems to me it’s a lot more work to first restore the bare bones before you can even build especially if you are doing a lot if not all of it yourself. I saw the back with Circuit breakers so you have to be plugged in to power source or do you have solar panels on the roof? Idk enough yet about one power source vs the other so I hope it’s ok that I ask. Is this insulated for 4 seasons, what is your heat source? I am very impressed! You both did very well with design and colors. I love it! Warm n definitely inviting! Thank you for sharing. Donna B

The shower exhaust fan vents out the bottom of the trailer and yes, it has enough power to exhaust during a shower. The wood on the counter is walnut and I got it at Floor and Decor (it was damaged). As for power, we do not have solar panels on this trailer so we need to plug in for electric. The trailer has an insulated ceiling but not the walls. We only camp during warmer months and have no issues with being too hot/too cold. If it is a bit chilly we just plug in a little heater and we are toasty in no time. If you want to visit the blog we have more info on individual projects, www.chatfieldcourt.com/cargo-trailer-conversion/. Thanks for watching. Appreciate your interest. Kristi

What a nice build! I was very impressed with your kitchen counter! Great job salvaging something amazing from that large slab. I also really liked your storage stools with the rubber feet. Great idea. One other thing I had not seen before was the removable wallpaper. I thought it was tile! What a nice touch with minimal install and very practical. Overall a very, very nice job!🎉

Ipe wood is from the fast growing Tabebuia impetiginosa . It’s not in the walnut family, however it is one of the hardest woods to work with. And last longer than Teak.

Love the awning, bed and door. Bug no to the shower. Ask any Van Lifer, waste of space. Si many ways to be able to set up a shower. Unless you're living full time un that. Big no. Cook outside. Overall look is nice. Great Job

Thanks for watching! We actually love the shower and it feels so roomy with it being in the v-nose. It may not be a priority for some but we enjoy it and use it every day when we camp. .
@makb53543 ай бұрын
Most Van Lifers are young people and your priorities change with age. In addition, it depends on climate you going to be traveling. I totally get the bathroom inside. In my colder climate it was the number 1 on my list even for 30 sec. shower.

you did an amazing job, I am interested in the corrugated shower and I love the wood bottom, I am wondering how design works for hair, as far as catching hair when you shower, is it difficult to pick etc. The wood base looks so inviting and warm.
