I was born in Winterpeg! We get cold here too in Kamloops. -28 or so for a bit in January. I love it as I just hunker down and knit 💚 excited for the new year sock along

I have used the no fray and it does the same too but after wash you don’t notice it.

Hello Alice, I have used no fray or called fray check in the states. I use it when sewing; you may have used too much. Definitely don’t use on the front- it will leave a stain. I don’t think it will soften but at least it’s on the reverse and you will never feel it.

Hi Alice. I like how you knotted the ends in your colorwork instead of weaving them in. You’re right, nobody will see them, it seems that the knots should hold up pretty well without the other stuff on them.

Hi, I’m from SW Michigan. Half way between Lake Michigan and Kalamazoo. Starting a pair of vanilla socks 🧦 for my husband. West Yorkshire Spinners in the color way Owl. Cuffs, heels and toes will be a brown hand spun and dyed from a Native American craft shop I bought in the U.P.😊

It’s a free pattern on Raverly. Very simple knit sweater.and a pair of Vanilla knit socks for myself.I’ve also got 3 crochet projects all blankets for Christmas gifts. Should be done those by the end of this month.
